A listing of the current features in version 244 and features to come.

The game has been in development for 2 years and is currently in alpha.

Currently implemented features include:

  • Fast 3D graphics
  • Multiplayer over LAN/Internet TCP
  • Procedurally generated, persistent worlds
  • World streaming in all directions, including up and down
  • Crafting of weapons, armor, and miscellaneous items
  • Basic lighting
  • Units have attributes that they spawn with, which affect everything they do
  • Units have skills they can improve by using them
  • Units can choose from talents once they gained a certain proficiency in any skill
  • Slot-based inventory system per unit (non rotateable)
  • Digging and building
  • Item quality and material affecting efficiency and looks
  • Optional scaling of difficulty by crafting totems in-game, increases XP gain in return
  • Streamlined interface
  • Customizable shaders and textures

Planned features include but are not limited to:

  • Lighting affects accuracy
  • Alchemy
  • D&D-like magic, item enchants
  • More ores, weapons, etc.
  • Enemies exclusive to difficulty settings
  • More playable races with different perks
  • Modding support
  • Public server list
  • Randomly generated dungeons
