Hehe, thanks for waiting for more info before judging. Hang in there for a bit and soon you'll be able to see for yourself how this is a completely different game.
True; Cubelands has been inspired by games like Infiniminer, Dungeon keeper and might look make you think of games like Roblox, Minecraft, Blockland, Second life..however, Cubelands does not compare to a single game out there mainly because of the built in community features that greatly dominate gameplay (Achievements, friendslists, screenshot sharing, sharing buildings/levels(?))

Fine, I'm gonna track and see where it goes, but be sure to make chemistry or alchemy.

So what you are basically saying is that this is like minecraft, without the survival mode, just with social features?

I have to say, it looks like minecraft.

More details as to why your game is 'new' are required.

Furthermore, if your gameplay and such is the same as minecraft, be very, very wary. Valve have taken an interest in minecraft.

And valve get nasty in court over small things.

oh? minecraft is a reference to when you dont need 300$ graphics card just to see someones sweat in high res, although, you still need a 90$ graphics card to run the game on full sight view...i dont, make your choice

Um, I really like the look of minecraft. And the original Monkey Island for that matter! I love old looking games! This is just like minecraft without the pixely charm.

WHy dont every body just keep your negative thoughts to you selfs and let them do their work instead of criticizing them an idea is an idea weather it based off of another game or not alot of hard work gos into to indie games most of you should know so give them a chance and get lives if most of you just complain all day.good luck to the creators.

Honestly, minecraft has a very tight community that will support it through and through, making a similar game was a bad idea. I also don't see how you can hope to directly compete with it.

If I had to guess i'd say this game has been in planning and development for a while, and the similarity with it / minecraft is purely coincidental.

If not well remember that inspiration is the ultimate form of flattery.

this is my exact opinion.

and hey, to all you minecraft lovers, Minecraft was pretty much a ripoff of Infiniminer, but it moved away from infiniminer's style, and took it's own retro style.

while this seems to be more of a roleplay game, like playing lego. while that's not quite my sort of game, it looks better than many games, and promises to be more community-intergrated. and the best thing is, it's better than Manic Digger. that's ALWAYS a plus.

ALWAYS.

(FYI, I love minecraft, so any argument about me hating it is invalid)

There's room enough in this world for multiple cube games, and this looks nice. :)
