After much thought, I've decided to make Cordillera free. Free, as in beer. I've never really had free beer, I buy mine like some kind of idiot but you get the gist of it. This reason for this decision is that I really just want people to play my stuff without being blocked by a pay wall. No matter how small or large the sum. Also, I didn’t think a game that is about 60-75 minutes in length would in any way be worth more than 1 euro/dollar etc, but that’s beside the point. I want people to play my games no matter how buggy and shitty they are. Feedback makes me a better designer. So do releases. Every time I release something I learn something new and interesting. I grow as a developer. So for me to sit here to say “Hey give me 3 dollars to play my buggy piece of crap” I can instead say “Hey here’s this thing I made, you can try it out. If you don’t like it then no loss, hit me up with some criticisms. But if you do then that’s great!”
So if you happen to stumble upon this blog or this game, pick it up and give it a try. Then shoot me some feedback either in the comments, my email (firstname.lastname@example.org)or my Twitter. Below you’ll find some screenshots, the trailer and some details about the game itself.
