Contagion has been developed with money solely out of our own pockets up to this point. While it'd be nice to reach the finish line doing the same, we've run into some costs which would be a challenge without the support of our Fans. You guys are trying way to hard. Sneaking? I mean really. And if you dare look someone in the eyes and say that the animations don't look robotic you have lost touch with reality.
The thing that threw me off completely is how the dev footage, witch is supposed to be shot in perfect conditions, lags and skips all the time. You have never actually shown a larger horde of zombies on screen so those probably lag or behave silly.
Also having seen some actual gameplay I gladly take back what I said about the game looking nice. I know its Source but really every level looks flat and boring.
Sure you can blame this on beta or alpha. But I wouldn't give money for something in this state.
It isn't about graphics :) and for source engine I think it still looks nice, look at other games using source engine. This looks better.
I dont get it as i was watching it I was thinking the source engine has actually held up quite well, unless you compare it to uber-graphics, look at my kick *** gaming computer, types of games.
You are more than welcome to your opinions. I hope you find a title that interests you. I do apologize that the .dem files give the impression that's lag and not the transition in recording. Best of luck :)
