Our latest build is out with another quickly added to resolve VOIP issues. We've cut down considerably on unnecessary resources improving server latency, map load times, performance, overall stability, and more. We've also included the much loved Revolver many of us have been waiting for.

Thanks to the restructuring and updated systems on Gameservers.com expect more updates more often with fewer hassles! We have quite a lot to do in 2013 still and much more as we reach towards Full Release early next year!

anybody else crash when trying to join a server?
Depends on the crash. Be sure to visit our Steam Group Troubleshooting Discussion and post your OS, System Specs, and detailed information regarding your issue so we can troubleshoot :)
ah ok but it seems to be a server thing though i can play offline fine its just whenever i go join a server it loads all the way then boots me back to the main menu. anyways ill go check out the troubleshooting group though. *edit* and modb decided to log me out :s im Dieger

ingame i dont have any gore-effects, no exploding heads, no cut of limbs.
I run the game on the lowest settings, because my system is really low.
Also i bought it from germany and some games are censored here, but i never read that contagion is censored in germany and on the german steam page of contagion there is no "Low Violence Version".
Also i asked other german players and they have full gore.
So is it because of the minimal settings ?
My System:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 5400+ Black Edition (2x2,8Ghz)
GPU: ATi Radeon HD3850
RAM: 2GB
Windows 7 32 Bit
And latest Contagion version
MaRiN3: It is due to your settings correct. If you go to advanced it should show why gore is not enabled with a note on how to resolve that. Atm your system doesn't meet min requirements however we are still optimizing the game and those who couldn't run gore before have pointed out they can now. So far we have not be asked to censor Contagion by the German government.

Woah :O 2 new guns, such quantity.
Actually only 1 new gun. The patch was to focus on getting those who paid for the game in-game and playing where many were having issues with Nvidia, Windows 8.1, our shader system, and others where they can now enjoy the game they purchased and with a significant boost to performance, stability, and optimization where many who had to play on lowest settings can now up those to enjoy a lot of the hard work put into the game.
Learned a long time ago if all you ever do is release content your fans will lose interest faster and you end up hurting many others. You have to set priorities. Hope that helps :) That and a total of 9 Firearms and 6 Melee weapons for an Early beta ain't bad.
