Hello Kakele community!
I bring you exciting news:
We are thrilled to announce that the community pages are up! As we said before, we believe that the player community is part of the secret sauce that will make Kakele a success. Firstly, we have created a simple website for the game:
For now, it will be in English only, as we don't plan to add much content there just yet, and we want to focus on the game app. We are keeping the IndieDB page for the time being, but the new website will be the official game page. We have also introduced the Discord server, so that players can interact with each other and with the Kakele team:

The test server is coming! In fact, it is currently online! But, we are still polishing things up, so stay tuned. Sometime in February we will open it to everyone, and we will make a post about what to expect from the test server. Here is a short demo:
To already level set expectations, I can already tell you that the test server is meant to:
- Test server stability: we have some automated tests to check for the stability of the service, but that doesn't compare to real players! At first, we are using some limited servers, and we want to measure how much more server power do we need for a smooth gameplay.
- Test gameplay: there is content up to the level 100. We want players to play the game and we will evaluate how hard or easy, fun or boring, the game is, making adjustments as we go.
- Test user experience: gather feedback on the game appearance, menus, buttons, interactivity and so on.
You will notice that there are features missing, such as trade, friends list and a global chat. We are still working on those, but we think that the game may be ready to be tested even if those features are missing.
With all that being said, we cannot promise that the data from the test server will be preserved once we launch the beta, because we will be making a lot of adjustments in that period. But, players that helps us at that stage will definitely get some special status and items once the first version officially launches ;)
