Cogmind is here!
Pre-Alpha development has officially come to an end with the release of our first Alpha version over on the website. Thank you for your patience and support through the nearly two years that this blog has been sharing progress updates on the game. It's been a long journey, and we're not done yet, but Cogmind has finally reached a state worthy of release as we work towards 1.0 in the open.

To introduce you to the awesomeness inside, we've put together an epic trailer that you're going to want to fullscreen and watch in HD for maximum roguelike (wouldn't hurt to turn up the volume, either =p):

Unfortunately I won't be able to buy the game right now but I will continue to follow the development with interest.

The good news is "next month" is only 11 days away! ;) And I don't *think* we'll run out of the limited part of the rewards by then... That would need a lot of sales.
I bought the game :D Pretty sure i won't be able to play it for some time. But here's to hoping CrossOvers can port it for the time being :3

Hm, you could've always tested it first! The Cogmind 7DRL (cogmindrl.blogspot.com) uses the same engine and is a freely available download, so if it works then the new one will, too.
About the emails, check your spam folders! They often end up there. And if you still can't find the purchase email (which should come immediately), just email me your last name and I'll look it up in the system for you.

Really just a case study in quality design from every angle. That trailer is kickass, and it's just for the alpha. Best of luck.
