Post news RSS Clones in HD

Clones was just submitted to the IGF competition and there was a lot of work put into the game to make it happen. You can check out the latest trailer that was posted that gives a glimpse of some of the improvements.

We just reached a big milestone...we finally completed all the levels for Clones....about 120 unique puzzles in all with another couple of dozen multiplayer levels. We enabled support for wide screen mode (and almost any resolution for that matter), so we decided to create a new trailer with everything rendered in 720p HD quality. Check out the trailer below:

This video show some of the multiplayer in action with some clones decorated with bonus items (glasses), and also the use of stamps as a taunt. There are a total of 5 themes, and this video shows one CloneMaster from each theme. We will release another trailer in the next few weeks with another 5 CloneMasters.

Interesting, looks like a modern version of Lemmings mixed with normal
platformer elements. I'm gonna keep an eye on this game.

Thanks for the positive feedback! The platformer elements are attributed to the mutated "white" clone which can be directly controlled by the player. There are a few levels in the game that rely on this. For example, in one level the player needs to use the white clone to rescue all the other clones (that can't be directly controlled). In addition, there is a mutated dark clone, that has powerful, and destructive abilities.
