For the past two weeks we've been working on (mostly) backend things. We've been updating documentation, tweaking old code and optimising just about everything. For example, as of the latest build, chapter restarting should now be completely instant.
The last chapter we worked on was Chapter 3 and now that that's done we'll be moving forward again. Following on from Chapter 5, set in a police station, you'll be moving on to the headquarters of the company you believe are manufacturing Rhyphorm.
And last but not least:
What's that? A health bar? Yup. Chapter 6 will introduce the first "boss". Bosses in Superstatic have a lot more health, carry better weapons and best of all (essentially) cannot be punched. Currently, we're implementing a system to introduce bosses in a more meaningful way but for now bosses can be identified via the health bar above their heads. Next week we'll be going over a few more parts of this chapter.
