IFV Gun Turret
One_Winged_Anel has been working on the new machine-gun IFV turret. When you use a GI or Conscript with an IFV, this is what you'll get. It's not based on the original voxel art, because we thought that the weird dome turret didn't look right when brought into an FPS environment. So, with a bit of inspiration from military sources, he has designed this new turret which, he feels, fits the general allied aesthetic.

Base Character Updates
One_Winged_Angel has been continuing work on the base character mk. 2. He's working to get the arms and legs finished up for next week. From this base, he can create all of the new infantry

Strings
OWA has also been working on getting the strings sorted out. jonwil has coded up a nice new strings editor that is much better than the one that's built in to level edit. With this he can search for strings as well as other neat tricks.
As an example, here are the strings for the weapons in RC1
Recruitment
We are looking for extra staff members to join our ranks! What we are looking for in a 2d artist, is someone who:
- is enthusiastic about working with the BHP Apocalypse Rising Team.
- has spare time.
- will be active in the foreseeable future (a.k.a we don't want you running off).
- is competent at creating their own 2d textures.
- is over the age of 16 (we overlook this if you are what we assess to be a mature individual. This rule is known as the TruYuri rule).
PM One_Winged_Angel with your application stating why you would like to join the team along with any past experience. Please provide example textures, if you have any.

i definatly agree that the new turret beats the original voxels. a dome would've been so boring.
