We are pleased to announce the $25,000 Banzai Community Mapping Contest for Rising Storm! Tripwire are once again bringing you a truly spectacular mapping contest, this time for Rising Storm, that will give all of the amazing talent in the modding community a chance to shine. The headline prize will be an awesome $10,000 for the Grand Prize winner.
Unlike our previous contest there will be only one required deadline for the competition – Checkpoint “Beta” which completes on November 5th. Checkpoint “Alpha” which completes September 3rd is optional, but will allow mappers to submit their maps to the judges for early feedback. This will allow the mappers to make adjustments based on the judges’ feedback well in advance of the final deadline. The Grand Prize will be $10,000. Yes, a full Ten Thousand Dollars for the winning entry! There will be prize money for the runners-up as well.
The Application Form will be open nearer the closing date for each Checkpoint, as you only need to submit your entries when they are ready and not every single time you create a new version (please!). Keep watching the Rising Storm website for news on when we will open the application forms. But start mapping. Now! There is only one way to win – and that is to create an awesome map. So get to it…
