An update on progress news

With all the silence past years I feel that it's important that I address the lack of progress.

First of all my apologies for the lack of any communication regarding the mod's development. To be honest, I was quite surprised to see the amount of comments discussing it. When I announced this mod, it was intended as some sort of backburner mod to run alongside with the Titanic Mod that I'm making for Mafia. I had no idea that it would still generate some traction. This is my mistake entirely for giving any other impression.

So that said, how is this mod doing?

For those that have been following the modelling stages of the Mafia mod -of which this mod takes its assets from- they will know that there's still a lot of work to be done on the modelling side.

Truth be told, when I announced this mod, I had more time to work on this and had the illusion that life goes slower than it actually does. In other words, I bit of more than I could chew.

The Mafia mod is still my main focus, and I will continue on finishing that first. Unfortunately I cannot say how much time that takes. Only then I can decide how to proceed on this mod. By that time, I'll gauge how big of an interest is left for it.

I know this message isn't particularly satisfying for those that have been highly anticipating this mod, but unfortunately that's the situation I have to deal with.
