Age of Barbarian Extended Cut - current status (update #4#)
Hi Barbarians! For this next update, we present you a graphic comparison between the Extended Cut and the original game, moreover we'll show you the new shadows engine and by popular demand some more gory screenshots. Let's start with order.

Here you can compare the graphics quality between the Extended Cut and the original version. As you can see, everything has been heavily implemented, from the quality of the backgrounds to the shape of characters and monsters.

Backgrounds are not only rendered, but they are also retouched with hand drawings and then painted, as result , the overall quality is much better than the system used in the original game.

The shadow engine is very implemented, now also some background elements cast shadows. For example here you can see shadow of the columns, projected against the wall. We have made them more dark and gloomy, moreover shadows now tremble at the approach of the flame.

Well here the photos start talking by themselves.

As we have previously said, you can dismember enemies in many different ways, we have also placed special attention to represent the anatomical details of the horrific injuries that you can inflict and suffer in the game. Yes Barbarians this game is very Gory.

Next update will probably be a short video of the game, so stay tuned and keep on talking about Age of Barbarian Ex, you Barbarians are the best.
