Posted by on

The three factions of the Aeon Nebula have broken out into war. The Alliance, Exiles and Cyborgs are each struggling to obtain dominance over the mineral rich nebula.

Aeon Command is a casual strategy, tug of war style space warfare game. The game features an action packed 24 mission campaign, 3 unique factions, 20+ unique ships and abilities, a skirmish mode with multiple difficulties and a persistent upgrade system.

Aeon Command is in the final stages of Alpha. Meaning, the core functionality and gameplay is complete. We are finishing level design for the Cyborg and Exile campaigns, as well as adding sound effects, music and fixing bugs. The initial release is targeting PC and Mac. The full PC and Mac versions will be released Fall of 2012. The second release is targeting iPhone and iPad and will be released Winter of 2012.

We hope you enjoy the free Demo, and look forward to your feedback and support.

When there's a demo I'll definitely give a try, sadly demo isn't live yet. :(

I don't suppose there'll be larger ships, frigate/corvette/destroyer size? It'd be cool to be able to have a large hulking multiple independent turret ship bear down. It'd have to be balanced properly of course, but definitely would be awesome to see. :)

Also as you're using Unity, there's no possibility you managed to snatch up the free Android licenses when they were tossed around? Would be great to play on my Kindle Fire.

Corrected that. It was still marked as a test build. Give the demo a shot and let us know what you think.

And yes, there are larger ships for each faction. :)

Noticed that I failed to answer your other question. Yes, we managed to grab the free licenses. We'll be focusing on iOS and Android after we complete the PC and Mac versions.

We did manage to grab the Android licenses, and plan on visiting the mobile market as soon as possible!
