"Fighting against blood thirsty enemies and having awareness of dangerous traps will be essential for your survival. There is still much we do not know, but there are some creatures we are aware of.
"The most common enemy you will face are the rats. Though they appear to be of little threat, do not underestimate them. They often come in packs, and can be surprisingly capable.
"Beasts and vermin are overly aggressive, and easily killed. However, their strength comes in the ability to seek you out.
"The Undead roam the realm with a vendetta against the living. They can resist many elements, while being vulnerable to others. Take care when facing them.
"Lizard folk are menacing, and not to be dealt with lightly. They are rarely alone and are not easily intimidated.
"A nasty creature, no doubt. We know little of this evil creature except that one should take the greatest of care not to be struck by its pincers. Death might not be immediate, but it will be imminent.
"The Golem is perhaps one of the most feared creatures. Easy to hit, but tough to hurt. It is much like trying to kill a rock, but this rock fights back.
"Remember: this is only a glimpse of the dangers you will face. Do not let this stop your journey to seek glory, instead let it invigorate you in the prospect of the gauntlet you will conquer. After conquering comes reward, and that reward is immortality. Go forth then, into the VoidGate." - The Scholar of Peril
Its not going to be satisfying combat without any reaction from the enemies upon getting hit by the player.
