Tried the Version on Github and i have to say, fantastic ideas and gameplay! The only thing is that it wasnt very stable for me. Might have happened cause of a mistake on my side though.

Whats the use of quiver here? Just bonuses oder something different?
The problem is the engine, since G2 almost make no use of the graficscard, so only the cpu is in use. The d3dx11 renderer changes this, which results in better perfomance. disbale wind is also a good option.
Completely disagree on the difficulty. You didnt have to cheat to complete returning mod, since i did it without any cheats and it was ok. In my oppinion some enemies could even be stronger. You are not supposed to kill orcs in the 2. chapter if you ask me. You still can kill an orc on lvl 1 but it takes forever, this mod and returning made that its not a stupid hack n slay game because you actually have to use your brain to fight some enemies. If its too hard for some people then a difficulty option would solve that problem.
especially because bow is too strong in G2
you get +20 mana of the staff back if you equip it without having mana. Enough for some goblin skeletons but not exploitable with fireball or something else.
The scripts need some time to load. It happens to me aswell.
In this mod he does, not like in vanilla gothic 2.Better check before you downvote...
