Love the game, but spoiled a little for me with the XNA framerate issue (similar to games like Bastion) where the refresh rate gets locked to 58/59 or below instead of 60, resulting (for some of us at least) in 'judder' every second or so (and my skills are already handicapped in games like these! ;) )

Any chance of a quick-and-dirty optional XNA fix like the Bastion guys (and a few other XNA devs) have ended up doing? e.g:

> Forums.steampowered.com

["You may now try adding: -nofixedstep
Using this option, the game will no longer dictate the frame-rate by itself. If Vsync is left on, the refresh rate of your monitor will determine the frame-rate. If this is 60hz, this may cause the game to run exactly as desired."]

(PS - wishing you great success on Steam)

Wonderful game! Great artwork, level design, and bags of unique personality.

One thing though - it runs with a strange (and noticeable) stutter for me (2 different PCs), with framerate constantly dipping down to about 55fps from a vsync'd 60 every second or so. This occurs regardless of screen res or graphic setting, and the only thing I can find to link it to is a potential timing issue with the XNA framework? Is there some way to fix this?

[thanks for a great game]

Scratch all that: tried a final uninstall/clean reinstall, then installed codecs separately, restarted PC. What do you know...60fps! Whatever the reason, it's all happy now :)

Hello 'iMulty' - have the same issue as some others in terms of the framerate...it's *always* limiting itself to 15 fps. Also, the CPU use never goes above 7% (and the GPU no higher than 25% at 1080P). No other game on my system (over 200 of them) behaves like this (unless forced to with a 3rd party app).

Have tried with/without apps like D3DOverrider, EVGA Precision etc to try and force the framerate but no luck. Also tried forcing to run windowed, but still 15fps limited. This is with WIMP versions 1.1 and the previous one from a month or two back.

My system details:

Win 7 64-bit
Core 2 Duo T9600 (2.8GHz)
3GB RAM
512MB 9600m GT GPU
On-board sound (Tried using Realtek drivers and default ones)
Latest nvidia drivers (314.22) - also tried with previous 2 official driver releases.
Latest DirectX drivers

Hope there's some simple fix possible as it looks a great little game (congrats on that!).
