I enjoy RPG games with some kind of character creation and/or high interactivity with other characters, such as Starwars KOTOR, Deus Ex, Fallout, Soul Callibur III, resident evil outbreak and such. I like linux, python programming, game music and arts(both 2d and 3d, digital or not), and use Panda3D for my games.

Good night, for now there is not a windows version of the game. There will be one in the future though.

Good day Knight445, thanks for commenting.

The game will actually allow you to read and create sheet music, so, having user customized musics for the game would be easy to do. I had not thought of implementing that, but it was actually a good idea.

Yuko

You shall not be dissapointed. A project where someone is commited to life cannot fail.

Thanks for such a detailed explanation, I see this project is being handled in a quite professional way. Really, there are many difficult subjects when making a game, things the final user will never know, and thus will not take that into account before judging a game project. I also had and have my own share of complex issues on my game project, although the nature of them may be a bit different. Good luck on this project =D

Nice pixel art graphics, a worthy fan tribute in my opinion, quite nostalgic. And yes, beware of copyright issues, I have seen so many awesome fan projects being refused by the ones which should get happy with that, when instead they could perhaps make money together with the fans who made the homage, or at least credit them. It depends on the current rights holder humbleness or lack of.

Very creative and funny trailer, seeing the subject from the eyes of the dungeon owner and creatures. Remembers me a few rare games of this kind from the past. Salutations from Tsukiyoarts.

That animation of the gun reloading, just wow. Such attention to detail. The flow-chart gives more strength to your project presentation, makes it more serious, sometimes I make use of that too. Salutations from Tsukiyoarts.

I liked the pixel art graphics and more personal news article, you registered well each update too, this is a weakness of my project, not keeping track of everything, so sometimes people do not see the amount of work if not graphical =/ The "Unsaved Progress will be lost" options were amusing too.

Changing which game concept we should take ahead take a while and is difficult, I am happy you found your way, now you will work inside the chosen game concept, graphics, etc. I am also getting heavily distracted from my project due to life, but we keep it going isn't? I also made musics for my project, but gave up so I could focus at other project aspects.

I think this art style is different, creative, some of the concept too like walking around naked.

Looks good and seems a detailed gameplay, leaves some things to the imagination too instead of graphically fully showing. Still impressed with this.

That was the best reading I did for a while at this site. About the haters, sadly they exist and behave as you said, they are just people who already failed, which instead of solving their own problems throw their hate about themselves at others. I liked reading about your story and observations regarding the development of a complete game. A lot to be said about this article.

"And strangely enough, I've found more followers on Twitter than I had anticipated, but most of them are just looking for me to follow them in exchange without having even tried the game." - I am disappointed in twitter by that, there is no real interest, but a market of follows, if you follow who follow you sometimes they will stop following you, because they wanted your follow only, they do not want to be shown they followed a lot because they want to look important, crazy people, never will get true success.

It caught my attention you talking about iniciative dices, maybe you know the original table RPG like me? As dices are not used in desktop anymore (old games used them digitally). As for the linux and mac versions dying out it was expected, windows has far more users, althought linux and mac ones are more passionated and maybe are interested in paying a bit more since they do not have much games. I guess you could add linux and mac if you windows version give you enough money.

I can only speak for me, I´m veery slowly making my game for 4 years already, some actually even surpass that but get successful in the end. It depends on the game size, team size and the amount of time you have to work on your project, being successful in a kickstarter helps a lot too, I still had not made mine since my last one failure looong ago, when my game was too young yet.

Yes, quite painful, but if you do not give up this is worthy it in the end no matter the time it takes, at least for my project it is being rewarding and probably for you too. Welcome to our pack fellow lone wolf.

Thanks for the comment! They are rather scarce here on indiedb. I will never give up on this project, if it stops it is because I'm dead(hopefully it will not happen); what changes is its development speed due to moving from one city to another sometimes, japanese study and other life things, sometimes I have to go away a time to come with a clean mind to the project too.

In more details, I do not give up because I want to finish this project to prove to myself I can finish what I start too, because I already came too far on it and a bit to shame people who when the game was young said this project was horrible and would soon fail, the WIP projects they praised as superior failed sooner than my project which will live as soon as I live, improving as I improve myself, people are actually liking it a lot, which is very good since the project is far from finished, which gives a glimpse of its true future potential.

I´m making this for myself, but mainly for others human beings as it is no fun for one to play his own game, a game is for others.
