The group is no longer a node-webkit only group, I use the Unity4 engine too now.
No Linux support as announced? That is misleading! I need a Linux 64 bit support ... and a better price policy, see comment above ...
I don't like projects which want to spoon-feed their alpha testers with commercialization ... except games which might have a high value for me in future, but how to figure that out, demo versions help, in my opinion alpha versions are demo versions, but demo versions are free of charge ... every price has a personal value ... you should use a "free" (alpha) and "pay what you want" (pre-order) solution, like Crunching Koalas do ... the price after a final release should depend on the status of implemented features, like Esoteric Software do ...
No 64bit exec :(
The release is listed in Linux but it is no Linux release :(
Does not work again, I can open a pause menu, but no more. When I click on an icon at the bottom of the screen the game freezes and is going to shut down itself after a while. Deleting the unity config folder does not help.
The game has a space grid which supports planets with their own grids now, screenshot with grid helper nodes: S7.directupload.net
The game here looks like a fan game of GC2. Fan games can clone a original game more or less, ok that can cause copyright infringements, but that depends on the developer of the original game. And some developers endorse fan games. The best way to handle a fan game, is to ask the developer of the original game before the development.
My which list:
- what about scenarios?
- what about events/challenges?
Do you have plans for such features?
Thanks for the 64bit version, but it has a bug like some other unity 64bit executables which does not have a configuration dialog before the game starts.
The default in-game screen size is 1920x1080 and higher than my 1280x1024 resolution, and I cannot see/access an element where I can change it inside the game. :(
But a workaround exists to change the value manually in
~/.config/unity3d/skmskm/Universal Civilization Demo/prefs
Does not work, the same behavior again. Here is a screenshot S1.directupload.net
I can open the "pause menu", if I want to click on an icon at the bottom of the screen the game freezes and is going to close itself after a while.
There are some rumors that if the shadow lizards get better contacts to alien races, they can get access to a additional psi technology market.
Use the Hotkey F1 for FPS counter (upper, left corner) or F2 / F3 / F4 to start a Bug / Impressions / Suggestions survey, without a participation limit.
The second pre-alpha release contains some of the new Framework Classes, which will be extended further to allow an easier way for elements lay-outing and much more ...
Oh, I did not see that the first comment was from myself ;)
Nice impressions so far, from the screens / vids, I am working on a turn-based project with space too ...
Interesting stuff here ...
The game version 1.1 has a single screen with a scene and no more actions, and a menu without a real functionality, I can not play anything, is it a preview version or is it a bug? linux64 debian
No 64bit bin :(
I need the 64bit bin too!!! :)
The first files of MCT framework are in, it uses prototyping like pixi.js, prototyping is 19,6x faster than ignoring prototyping to make a framework in node-webkit. Speedtest Gist.github.com
Very nice game, with some bugs -> Goo.gl
If you want to support it with the some $ it is worth the money ...
looks nice but cannot play it because I cannot set the screensize and language ... bug report in forums ... I think it need more translations to make it playable for foreigners ... my translation offer is located in the forums too ...
Ok I played until level 18 then it gets very worse suddenly, the TNT feature is not well designed and implemented, that breaks my fun in the game. That needs some more work ...
Oh, I though the "give it what you feel" campaign was for the alpha, so I placed 5$ and I was fine with it, then I played it and had a lot of fun, the alpha is worth the money, even if the level editor does not work yet in my version.
I get a message "Check back soon" :(
... and the game will contain something like a space grid later, if we get more planets by zooming out the focused planet. The space grid will not have much data, but it is a help for positioning of planets and space outposts between.
The first version of the grid will get a small density because the planet has no zoom function. The nodes will act for positioning objects only. And the grid will not have any no-build areas because these need the map data from the second version. But my current tasks are more focused on how to get the layer dependencies in scene windows to work correctly, to release the second pre-alpha with the finalized first draw of graphics / UI. The deadline is in 4 days ... after that I can start with the grid ...
looks nice, I want to play it ...
Look at the bird related image Indiedb.com to get the link for the spine animator demonstration video, the first birds animations have been implemented as you can see in the latest in game video Indiedb.com, and maybe we get a whole birds simulation for the planet surface out of it ;)
Sound rocks and I love to flying around and digging in the sky YEAH!
