If it crashes when you launch an attack with a hero with total of aglity + mastery of 12 or more then the solution is not to upgrade your heroes above a total of 11, at least in the 0.5.0 version.
The attack roll of the board game is a 1d6 + agility + mastery and the table is limited to 17.
I guess a score of 18 or more makes the crash.
