Great piece Dan! SM64 is one of my all-time favorite games. Not too sure where the speedrunning WR is right now by I remember a few years back watching many runs by then record-holder Puncayshun as they were always so. It's awesome how active the modding community is with SM64.

+1 to Desert Combat, spent many many hours playing Desert Combat amongst many other great BF1942 mods.

We have received some of the keys for the top 50 winners we are just awaiting the rest so we can distribute them all at once :) We haven't forgotten about this so don't stress.

Due to the huge amount of entries it's taken us longer than expected to get through all the submissions and we have pushed the judging date back to April 25th. It's important that we properly test every game & mod as well as take our time with all the art submissions that a lot of our great community members put many hours of hard work into them.

Sorry to keep you all waiting that little bit longer but having this many entries is a good problem to have and we have been blown away by not only the volume of entries, but their quality as well. Stay tuned!

Just a heads up that I am cleaning up the entries list so there aren't any duplicate entries from the same project. For example if there is a game tagged with #makeitsuperhot on the list and 3 files belonging to that game tagged with #makeitsuperhot as well only the game entry will remain.

Nothing will be lost so do not stress :)

Apologies for the confusion regarding the timer accuracy being a bit off for some users. Your entries will not be disqualified due to minor discrepancies in submission time due to following the front page timer so do not worry. We're blown away by the sheer amount of entries and are looking forward to going through them!

We have been making small changes to address bugs and also make improvements where necessary. A recent change we have just made is better and more accurate image previews on forms

In the past a user would upload a logo but due to us showing images as 4:3 in pretty much all areas of the site, they would not see that the ratio they uploaded will cut off parts of the image that they probably want to keep. Now when you upload certain images (logo, icon, etc) you can get an accurate representation of how it will look alongside news items on the main page and such.

Damfoos That would be a back-end issue and not necessarily a v5 design issue - I will look into it though. Seeing as you are on Opera Mobile are you able to see any of the font-awesome icons on the site? (inbox envelope image, search magnifying glass, etc). I don't believe Opera Mobile supports font-awesome but you didn't mention it in your post so I thought I'd double check.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention :) Have fixed it up, please don't hesitate to let me know if you find more bugs on the pages - I'm currently going through v5 in every browser to try find issues and resolving existing ones so helping me become aware of bugs is greatly appreciated!

Here is just fine :) I believe I have fixed this bug however might take a little bit for the changes to roll onto the live site.

The comment karma is designed to disappear when it goes to the smallest size (mobile) - lots of little things like this aren't final and we'll look at making adjustments if they need to be made.

I'll be spending a fair bit of time now going across the site in many browsers other than Chrome to make sure these little bugs are fixed - just like the "post comment" button not being shown.

I could watch that gameplay trailer forever.

Woah that's the hell of a change after so much development time - makes sense given the rocky scenario at Crytek at the moment.
