Codehatch.com - We are looking for a full-time C# programmer in the Edmonton area. Please email us if you are interested.
The next update is a major one. And it will be out in a few weeks.
Any money we make in the future goes towards the goals that were not reached. :)
Great stats guys. Glad to see StarForge made it. And loving all the cool games that are upcoming. :)
The next update will be a major update. We are aiming for the weekend before Christmas. So far on track.
We are working on a ramp system right now. So ramps with 3D tilesets. Also, there will be terrain gun in the future that can build ramps. And we are currently overhauling the jump systems so climbing is easier. Vehicles are in the works.
You will have these accounts forever including after we release the full game. :)
Thanks for the feedback and stats. I feel the aliens kick butt on most matches, but I don't mind the challenge of playing marines.
Such an amazing game. We made sure to tweet about it on our StarForge twitter. Were all playing it here at CodeHatch when we get the time. I really love how innovative the entire game feels, and it is extremely addicting and polished. Keep up the great work! :)
They seem to be making a different play style then ours. And we think it looks cool. :)
Thanks for helping us out! Also thanks for the suggestion Acetyl, currently were focused on infinite, however, we do consider finite for the future but that would require quite a bit of work.
Congrats! A well deserved success.
Were granting alpha access to all Indiegogo pledges. It just takes a couple days since our emails are so swamped. Thanks for everyone's support and patience.
There all cosmetic perks, meaning you will have unique looks to certain weapons. Everything is listed here - Forgeplanet.net
Thanks for your understanding. We always felt it was like fitting a square peg in a round hole making our game work with Free2Play.
Thanks, we really think our movement offers something special too, so that's why so much time is spent working on it. We appreciate your support. :)
Were always working on bug fixes, and they will be implemented in each upcoming versions demo version. So if you feel too uncomfortable to make a purchase with it's state at the current time, please do check back, as we will be doing our best to polish it.
We'll be tethering the parkour like movement to a key in the future. Physics movement is one of the most complex projects to code and balance, and it is always a work in progress. So you can expect more fixes with every new release.
Best is to try riding the wall with the player, or building down. We understand we made this a bit too hard.
Thanks guys! We'll be announcing our future plans for StarForge at the end of next week.
It will be multi-platform. We plan to do a Mac release next year. Possibly a Linux release afterwards.
The new update will be released in a matter of days. It will contain alot of great things like inventory, in-game internet browser, better physics, main menu, death, more realistic attacks, new level, the 3D Leaf Tilesets, plus much more!
I love the music! It's always stuck in my head after I here it. Thumbed up on Greenlight.
