I think of myself as a regular guy who just happens to have a rabid enthusiasm for playing old/new/obscure video games and showing them to other people. These people sometimes even watch me play these games voluntarily? inorite!? I've always wanted to create video game reaction content, but man is it hard! You learn something new everyday! With the game coming out of Early Access and finally being launched July 22nd, 2016 to release version 1.0, many things have changed over the years. TONS of content has been added! I played this a few years ago when it was very early on, and thought I'd do a playthrough of the release version. Check it out!

I revisted this game once the Kickstarter demo came out. Have been following this game for awhile now, and every time we get a new demo or update, the game gets better and better! The artstyle is whimsical and retro; the playstyle is pretty intuitive, and the humor is fantastic. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of this soon. They are up on Kickstarter right now if you get a chance to check them out, hoping this gets funded!

Well, what are you waiting for?! Start shooting and collecting crates! Crates are score!! Why do we need crates? For guns! Why do we need guns? To shoot monsters! Why are there monsters? Uhh... well, there are some excellent theories... Super Crate Box boasts very addictive gameplay, especially the unlocks! Played this game WAY longer than I thought I would, would definitely recommend giving it a try!

I can't believe that such a simple concept can cause such fury and rage! LOL - I played it and had a good time, though I FEEL like I lost my goddamn mind towards the end - challenging gameplay and cool concept; a game I intend to continue to watch and play further once it is fully released!

Fantastic play control makes not only creative use of both coordination and mechanics in the traditional platformer sense, but also forces you to rely on pre-planning and timing, (something of which many games of the same genre tend to lack). This combination leads to gameplay that can, at times, be both enraging and ultimately very satisfying at the same time! The phenomenal artwork, as well as the atmospheric soundtrack, only add to the creepy undertone that pervades this work. A game I intend to continue to watch and play further once it is fully released!

Check out my two-part playthrough of the demo to see for yourself!

This game is absolutely insane! Settle back and get ready for a score of your favorite action heroes as they claw their way through enemy soldiers, dogs, minefields, and their own stupidity, (I mean... MY stupidity)

I found the game to be JUST frustrating enough to make me feel like I really had been thrown into a late-90's, clandestine government organization tasked to find kek-peddling hackers though the interwebs with next to no training. Humorous little parts evoked a weird mixture of both nostalgia and cringe (aka dial-up modems, cheesy HTML websites)- just the way I remember it! Looking forward to more!

This game is fantastic! Definitely has a Binding of Issac feel to it, but by no means a clone, TONS of new and inventive gameplay to wreck the nerves of even the most seasoned roguelike player. Tons of items and enemies gives this superb replayability. BTW, this is a pretty dark game! Will little Emma find out what happened to her little brother, or just lose her goddamn MIND?!

This game is SO satisfying - so responsive and fun to play, plus a ton of nostalgia. Love the artwork, the retro feel, and the developers' sense of humor. Fun game to play solo, or add a friend and slash and hack through goblins and ogres together. Played through the demo and looking forward to MUCH more!

Interesting gameplay mixed with tense moments - becomes frustrating at times, but only in the "trial-and-error-this-is-a-roguelike-suck-it-up" kinda way. Very satisfying to figure out the patterns and get away with all the loot ;)

Very interesting backstory and cool ambience and atmosphere. Both spooky and serene at the same time (somehow). Enjoyed this and looking forward to more!
