Hey! Just popped in to say I'm loving the game so far. I was messing around with a T Flip-Flop, and I noticed that the way I made it, it required the input pulse to be several ticks long, but not too many ticks - Too short or too long of a pulse would turn it into an overly complicated clock, instead of an effective switch.

With that in mind, I managed to make a combination pulse lengthener and pulse limiter, which I have dubbed a pulse controller. It works perfectly - Given either an instant pulse or a continuous one, it creates a pulse of an exact length and prevents the T Flip-Flop from breaking by getting stuck in a feedback loop. I'm so happy that this game just lays bare all the bits without any of the fluff some other things add that make everything more complicated (*cough* Minecraft *cough*), which has really helped me learn how to really dig into the systems. Is there anywhere I can post an image of the component I made? I assume it's not that impressive, but I'm proud of it. At any rate, fantastic game. Keep up the good work.

Worm gears might help too - Those could make vehicles that have very high torque, and don't coast unsupervised. Granted, the vehicles would be terribly slow, but there are still applications for that.

Thank you! I'm learning things slowly - I've built a car now that has a parking brake, but unfortunately it can't reverse. Reason being, said parking brake is a piece of wood on a servo motor that's actuated into the wheel whenever I'm not holding Shift+W.

Whoops, forgot to log in XD

By the way, I can't find anything for how the motor controls actually work. What keys are those assigned to?

I apologize for my delayed response, I wasn't aware that this comment system existed. I am interested, I suppose, but only to the extent of my curiosity. I don't really know what you're making, after all. If you had a post to point me to, I would be happy to read about the game, and if you're already proud of it, I see no reason why you shouldn't post something.

Awesome, can't wait to play this. It would be nice if we could get this in a regular old .zip, but oh well.

If you feel like you got jipped because the devs failed to explain something, then tell them about it. Post on the forums, email them, etcetera. They're reasonable guys, they're not trying to rob you, they're just asking for support, and if you feel like you weren't properly informed, I'm sure they'll be as upset about it as you are.

There are some limitations to this version, yes. The "full" version is $30.00, which will allow you to help shape the future economy along with other aspects of the game, get you the latest and greatest builds, and give you access to all future expansions and whatnot.

However, this version will give you more stable builds with less bugs and a generally better playing experience, and there are no limitations to the robots you can build, including essentially limitless size, complexity, and whatnot, and you get access to all the parts that we do, at least as far as I'm aware.
