Well its not exactly going to be an easy task, but work is progressing, albeit at a very slow rate.
no its not dead, it's just been a really long time, and I wanna let you all know that no it's not dead but several things have happened over the last few years that have caused me to put the project on hold for a while, its still on the backburner, but it will get done I swear, I just need to get the freetime to be able to do it, plus the team to help me make it also.
But I also would like to inform you guys that in addition to this project I am currently working on my own videogame, details to follow on that whenever I can, but yeah that also eats up my time along with other real life stuff that I have to take care of. Anyways that's the quick update for you and have a great rest of 2018, bye.

Hi guys, after a long period of time away from this mod, due to personal issues and other things I have decided to tell you guys that i am currently thinking about switching this mod over to AS2, since my AS1 was corrupted and the assets I were using also got corrupted due to a virus that got into my computer during my period of inactivity. It took me a while to clean out the virus, but once i did i noticed that those specific files in my documents folder and the folder where the game was had been corrupted since i had managed to stop the spread of the Virus from getting too far, anyways I will have to start all over again.
If anyone has any experience in modeling or anything or even just rigging units for export please let me know as i will need all the help i can get due to my having to start over again, or who knows i may even switch the mod depending.
Anyways hope you all have been having a wonderful 2016 and I hope to hear from you all very soon thank you.
anyone have an idea on how i can make entities that i have put ingame controllable by the AI? because it is bugging the hell out of me that i cannot do so.

My name is shadowhunter but please call me shadow. I am currently working on a mod for men of war assault squad called Aliens Extinction. here is what the concept of the mod is:("a mod which aims to bring the aliens universe into men of war assault squad"). I am a 3d modeler myself but i have trouble when it comes to other aspects such as texturing and stuff. I am an idea and a modeler guy.

i use a combo of the latest version and the required 2009. The 2015 is a way for me to work on models that need to be fixed. the '09 version is my go to for export and stuff

i use a mix of different software but obviously as the gem export plugin only works for 3ds max thats one of the softwares im using. I have 3 different ones that are in combination with each other and i can choose to use either one to model.

Although i have run into a problem with trying to get the vehicles to be able to be controlled by ai.

Okay guys small update:
After weeks of trying to figure out how to get models in-game have finally managed to do so, thanks to a tutorial on the absolute pressure mod page.
I should be able to get more vehicles ingame and more screens of them as fast as i can churn them out. Of note to everyone, despite my constant looking i cannot seem to find a model of the popular Aliens Dropship the UD-4L Cheyeen so for the time being that unit will not be in this mod.
Ill try to do my best man i hope i can make it as awsome as that mod. I was also wondering what happened to a mod like that
