You can try and get The Alpha 4, it is a little unstable on macos, it can crash when you make it fullscreen, but we worked on a lot of compatibility issues. we will soon provide a proper installer, but in the meantime, get the linux version and run it with java. Make sure you have java 8.

make sure you have java 8 installed, and run it with java SE
it does not work on some AMD graphics cards due to a configuration issue on my side. You may want to try the version on gamejolt.

Yes just open the .jar that is in the download after installing it. An earlyer comment described how to do so in case of issues.

That version is no longer supported, and it doesn't even belong to me. It's from Francis Racicot, who let it be made by another dev.

no it isn't. these are false virus alerts that only happen on two antivirus softwares i forgot the name of. i think one of them was avast. the thing is I have to use external dlls to load opengl so i have to extract them into the tmp folder when the program starts. the problematic function is malloc that is used to allocate memory for opengl.

Either the rigidity is too low or too high, try to adjust it. I also recommend you install the physics patch for more accurate sinking physics.

currently you can import ships from the old game or do it yourself. there is a palette in the sinking simulator 1 dowload so you can use paint to draw your ships. then just put them in the .sinkingsimulator2/SinkingSimulatorClassic/ships/
located in appdata or application support depending on your os.
if you make some ships feel free to post them in the mods section for others to use :)

I have to make very complex math to fix rigidity and the implosion bug before i release the next version.

there should be at least a .jar file. you need java to open it by double clicking it.

all batch files are considered viruses by modern antiviruses regardless of their content but batch files can be used as rudimentary installers, wich i use them for, but all downloads on indiedb are screened for real viruses so, download or not i don't mind :). I will also work on a non batch installer or make it not require any install.

to spawn a ship, select a ship, select the spawn tool, and then click on the screen where you want to spawn it.
