Project Orion Update: 02.16.2024: (post 1 of 2) & (post 2 of 2) in the links.

The W.H.D team has some new sample images from inside both 3D Studio Max and Unreal Engine 5 for "Project Orion". These are all blockout renders for testing and make use of the Arnold Render Plugin. As you will see in the samples from inside of Unreal Engine 5. The test renders and associated shaders, materials and emissive lighting created in 3D Studio Max provide an important function. The atmosphere is then used as a visual reference to create the same qualities within Unreal Engine 5. One of the great things about UE5 is the new Nanite system for importing meshes with high poly counts and making use of the functions that control depth range for processing large detailed environments. The Nanite system allows designers a great deal of freedom for current and next generation game development by greatly reducing the concern for polygon budgeting. The newer Lumen system for UE5 is also another great advancement for current and next generation games for functions that control fully dynamic global illumination and reflections. -Greetings everyone, it has been awhile since our amazing team of game developers, designers, artists, music & sound engineering & other team associates have posted any public updates. We have been busy, very busy and in the near future we will be posting some new updates and content.
-In the meantime we hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during the global covid-19 pandemic.

We are Wicked Horizon Designs and we are working on 2 exciting game development projects. Our team will post updates as time allows. We are using programs like 3D Studio Max, Blender for 3D environment and character design. We are using Epic Games Unreal Engine for our project executions.
