If you want to contact me, send me a message here! I'm usually not at steam most of the time.

Does it say anything on startup?

Most likely not. Maybe one day I'll go back and make it a bit more bearable, but fell like I still need to learn a couple of things to do the concept justice.

The servomotor sounds kinda take away from the horror of the scene. It was much more dramatic in the original when the tiles just started falling down one by one.

I think you should change the water texture. There's something about it that clashes badly in terms of color with the rest of the test chamber.

"Everyone who enters wins a copy of SUPERHOT on Steam."

Well, how about that?

Thanks a lot for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed at least some parts of it. I'm not really sure if I feel comfortable connecting my facebook to moddb, but if you want to share something, feel free to pm or add me on steam!

In theory, you should be able to simply restart steam, and then have "PORTALHOT" appear in your game list in steam library.

Don't worry about voicing your opinion, I'm not gonna be discouraged. Thanks for your feedback! I'm sorry if the experience wasn't very enjoyable. I designed the first levels last so by the time I got to them I was probably so acquainted with the mechanic that I didn't even notice that I was making them too hard for the beginning of the game.

Did you update your drivers like that site says? Whats your graphic card?

I'm sorry, but it's not really possible. The delays in transition are mostly because as the time slows down, so does all the game logic, hence it takes longer for the inputs to register. If I had code access to the game then perhaps something could be done about this, but with how I had to do this, this is the best I could manage. Actually, in the early versions of the mod the problems with responsiveness were even bigger, because during the slow-mo I made the time slow down to around 0.05 the normal time (which is around the amount SUPERHOT uses). In the final version I lowered the slowdown to 0.1 normal time in order to make it more smooth. So, the version that you are playing is actually the one where I made compromises in order to make it more smooth.

They are still dangerous alright. Keep in mind that in this game you can't doge bullets, so it only makes sense that they won't kill you immediately. The whole "trick" to survival is to not to stay in the turret's line of fire for too long. I might implement some kind of a health meter to give player an idea of how much health he has left.

Plus, if you're worried about the lack of 1 hit kill doge-able projectiles in the mod, then I should have some good news for you soon.

Can I create an indev Moddb page before my mod is completed, or do I have to finish it first (to a downloadable state) and only then can I make a submission?

Don't talk **** about Toshiba. I'm still using my 14-year old Toshiba Satellite laptop to this day and it's working great. Granted, battery life is pretty shite compared to my newer laptop, but it's still an awesome piece of hardware to use.
