I think you misunderstand or I explained poorly.

I tried installing FCAM (FarCry Addon Mod) 1.999 and got the error I stated.
Because of this I then tried to install Unofficial FarCry Patch 1.505 and got the same error.

So it would seem I have a consistent problem with both files and I don't know why?

I've tried installed the following two mods:

FCAM (FarCry Addon Mod) 1.999
Unofficial FarCry Patch 1.505

However for both I get the following error:

Can't write: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\clean.bat

I also get the same for all the other parts of the download. Any suggestions?
