It was compiled into a 32-bit exe? I don't understand where you got the impression it was 16-bit?

Its the beginning of a survival game. So far we are working on getting the right mechanics in there (Mainly object creation and crafting)

Hahaha, I wouldn't really say we are goth ;)
The end game will be a third-person action / adventure game where the player has to battle out of a castle using magical abilities. The hotbar at the bottom of the screen (Show with brilliant programmer graphics =]) will be a selection of spells you can fire out. The levelling aspect of the game will allow for bigger and better spells and even a few other perks.
We shall be releasing a short tech demo at the end of the month along with videos of what we plan to have in the game soon. Mainly waiting on artwork now :)
