We've decided to stick with the HL2-type healthbar, because it makes the whole experience much more hectic and serious. Health pick-ups won't always be in clear sight, so you'll occasionally have to look for them.

Are the alpha's of texture of the palmtree leaves casting shadow in the lightmap?
I like the design! : ) Good choice of shapes and form.
I just finished playing the mod.
First of all, very cool, great work on the total conversion.
*SPOILERS* However, it was very confusing, like one big labyrinth(i'm guessing that's what you were going for with the layout of the levels), and i felt like i missed a whole lot when i got to the end.
Also the first time, i bumped into the worm demon, and when i loaded the last save and took a different route i ended up in a new map, which ended with a snake coiling down out of the wall, followed by the credits..
Are there multiple endings, or did i just mess up real good?
Secondly, the combat felt way too easy, i liked the choice between throwing objects or using the mace, only the mace made every battle turn out like this: select mace, run forward while swinging the mace, continue.
This mod has a lot of potential, but i really think you need to make the combat a lot harder, and guide the player a bit more in the next episode, so that he won't feel as if he's only played 60% of it when the credits start to roll ;)
Good luck with the next episode and keep up the good work!

3Ds Max or Maya.
Nice, was this sculpted before baking that normal map?
Pretty cool, only i have a hard time getting the scale on this..
Are those supposed to be deinonychus/raptors down there, because they look more like compsognathus due to the scale.
Somehow the perspective or the texture on the side of the building are working against the scale of the image, you might want to look into that.
Apart from that, very nice dino's, really like the T-rex..
Wonderful colors, and i like the thin snout, works really well with the boney 'horns'.
Looks very good, only thing that bothers me is the way the eyelids work with her eyes, something feels wrong there..
And I think slightly thicker/darker eyebrows would make her a bit more sexy ;D
Very cool, i'm curious though; where do you get reference for textures like these?
Amazing work, very nice shading.
Kudos to the artist!
the model and texture of the gun look decent but this is a horrible screenshot. Get the gun centered, or renderer it in a 3D program. Your not sellign it -___-
Nice work on the ship, but I'd make one or two extra variations of that asteroid, or at least rotate some of them to make it less obvious that it's the same one over and over.
A good point.
All lighting that you see in the ingame screens, is purely the sun lighting the scene.
Additional lights will be placed later on.
But feedback is always appreciated ;)
You're right, it's still a drawing ;)
Actual character renders will be released later in the production process.
I think it's a good improvement on the old one, specially on the high detail maps for wrinkles and bumps. I like the idea of having a slightly different looking female version, you might wanna think about doing a less weathered version, maybe with less bumps and scars. Or the other way around, a more weathered looking female, whatever is historically correct ;)
I don't get it, is this really a lowpoly model?
Looking at the silhouette, it seems like it's a high-poly model..
In any case, the detail looks very nice!
Nice work, only things that bother me is that his head is slightly too big compared to his body. And he's very clean, but i'm guessing this is still a WIP?
Is this the old version of the better looking one i saw before?
Nice work, very nice! Does it look this good in-game?
When do we get to see the texture?
Looking forward to it.
Really nice texture, great job! Is the lighting on the blade baked into the texture? Anyway, it seems to work very nicely.
Keep up the good work!
Pretty good, i think it needs some pipes running along the ceiling and/or wall to break the 'neatness'. Also by dressing the room with more props and using the lighting more to your advantage, i think it would look very HL2 worthy!
Congrats on winning best upcoming mod!
Really nice teaser too, keep up the good work!
Again, really nice concept art.
I like the combination of the gear they're wearing.
Are the in-game models going to be anywhere near this detailed?
Very nice concept art. It's consistent and professional, i like!
Wait, let me get this straight.. the mod has been released, but the predator hasn't even been rigged yet(correct me if i'm wrong)?
Then what do you play against?
Not trying to be a ****, but this obviously doesn't make sense to me.
EDIT: nevermind all that^, i should've read more on this mod before posting that ;D
That's some really beautiful concept art, is this a matte painting, or fully drawn by hand?
