I'm just your average computer geek who likes to play games and write programs. One day I might try modding! (but playing mods is so much easier... :D) Do feel free to harass me though. I'm good at ignoring people. :P
I think you're stretching the definition of asset flip. There's nothing wrong with building a game with stock assets, as long as there's thought put into the selection and that everything fits together into a cohesive whole. In other words, game design has occurred. A game really only becomes an asset flip if it's a bunch of stock assets jammed together with no consideration for the end product. You can usually spot the difference because asset flips usually have little effort put into other areas of the game either, such as glaring bugs, basic user interface, visual glitches, missing features, etc.
I'm going to cast my vote for the single view. It just makes it a lot easier to interoperate what is happening.
For some reason I expected a phone booth at the end...
Aww yis! I loved this mod back in the day, always wished somebody came up with some nice maps that ran specifically for it though. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Looks great! I can't wait to try it.
That's an amazing list of fixes right there. Amazing work!
Congratulations on the release! Downloading now and will be plunging in soon to give the full game the attention it deserves.
Looking good! Shadows have been one of the roadblocks stopping me from jumping in. Once 0.46.0 is released I'm gonna have to jump in and try it again.
The full version gonna be so good. What I've played so far has been fantastic!
Wow, haven't heard from this project in way too long. :) I hope this means you're still working on this awesome project.
This version certainly gives off a retro feel to it. Feels great.
Already done. This mod more than deserves it.
Oh that's cool. I've been eagerly awaiting this news since the page appeared on Steam. I hope you have a resounding success on your hands.
Getting a rather Back-Ops from Half-Life vibe here, very cool.
Only played it for a little while and damn it's good. Congrats on the release, plays great!
Very nice. Kind of reminds me of the good old days of mods on the Amiga 500...
Umm which screenshot? It might be just me but I can't see one...
Wow, it's been a while.
Ooh that looks so fantastic! Keep up the good work!
I like building stuff...
After coming up with names like Jawgasm and Chinwaggle, I think I realised I may never earn a job working at Game Freaks. Rejoice, future releases of Pokemon will be safe!
Looking fantastic! Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.
Depends. I guess if you're putting it on Steam it means the creatures will no longer be Pokemon, they'll be something else. Maybe name the game after those? Or select a name for the world itself (where the player is exploring) and call it that?
Fantastic job guys! Keep it up! :)
King Silas, have you lost weight? My but don't you look light on your feet...
I've been playing this over the last couple of days and it's freaking awesome! Nice job guys, absolutely love it.
Fantastic. You guys deserve the mention.
Tei-Tenga incident for Doom is a great retelling of Doom using the Doom Bible as a basis, but expanding upon it greatly to make a unique and entertaining experience. Easily one of my favourites.
Either that or she failed at stealth. Should have brought a cardboard box...
