You're complaining that the games suck, when it's the developer of the game giving the games out, not IndieDB. The page you are commenting on right now was created by the developer of XLarn, not IndieDB. Seems like you are confused about how these giveaways work.

We are currently experimenting with a realtime mode for multiplayer. As you can imagine, the turn-based mechanic doesn't meld too great with mutliple players, especially with any more than two.

Simply reload the game to fix the bag issue. As for performance, you can try the "Turn Off Animations", or try a different browser while playing the online version. Performance will be ironed out in 2.0.

Unfortunately your old world is gone, travelling away loses the old terrain and world forever, although we are working on ways around that.

I don't even know where to start with that issue. Some kind of configuration/setting on your computer must be removing the save data when your computer shuts down. I have never heard of that.

Thanks for playing. The monsters types do indeed get harder the longer you play (as your talent rises). I do have plans to reduce this effect a bit though as some players like to build up first before training combat skills and getting equipment.

The survival aspect will continue to be expanded as the game develops. Thirst is a rather recent addition. In the future we will see things like nutrition, temperature, and more.

This looks stunning and beautiful. Being a fan of Dear Esther, this seems right up my alley. If you haven't played it, it may give you some inspiration on how to reward just exploration.

It's possible, haha. It's currently playable on most Android devices via the web browser, but it's not exactly "user friendly" as of yet. We do have plans to make the game more "mobile" at some point. The best experience you can get at the moment is through a tablet.

1.7 indeed has a bug with the Solar Still unfortunately. This will be corrected in the next weekly. Stay tuned!

Also, I found the fishing bug you were mentioning. This will be fixed as well.

Thanks for the bug reports! I'll take a look at it for the weekly. Unfortunately, due to how fast the weeklies come out, it's not worth my time and effort to build the offline versions. I'm taking a look at some type of auto patching system, but it's still quite far away at this point.

We have some ideas with fish a bit later, but cooked trout should still be possible.

Wayward didn't quite make it into the IndieDB's 2013 Indie of the Year. Why not try for the Ascii Dreams Roguelike of the Year 2013?

Depends on your perspective :)

I would love for Wayward to be more than a hobby project to all those involved. Making a commercial game definitely helps in that department. I want to make Wayward the greatest game I can, and not take 10 years. Unfortunately that stupid $ thing comes in to play with this goal. Hopefully you understand!
