Grab Save Game Editor and load the save you wish to edit, go to troops and find a lord or troop that is a full-blooded orc, copy the flag # ID and face keys and paste them into player under troops, which will make you a full-blooded orc. Did this back in Warsword Conquest when Marauders were not playable :p

All of my infantry have bombs... It's a fustercluck xD The battlefield is nothing but smoke by the time the battle is over

Seriously though, the combination of gear you have put into this with certain aesthetic choices combined with having our own troops to customize makes this so much better for me. Thank you for adding that feature :D

Bad wordplay on my part about the chain of command, my bad. I was unable to find the original comment regarding it, but it was more referencing Third Age: Total War's way of handling factions. All evil factions were unable (if not very hard) to break away from Mordor, and I believe I read somewhere on this page that this mod may follow the same path, but I could be wrong :p

Yeah, that makes sense. I had originally thought about looking towards neighboring factions (instance: the northern factions bordering Rhun) and converting them for a larger pool of Rhun lords :p Other examples would be the reconstruction of Arnor as a faction, and what not.

Yeah, that's some tricky business. Was thinking about how Mordor and Isengard would handle their enemies in most circumstances, which would be torching everything in many circumstnaces. I know some mods implement razing settlements, but having it be universal is not very lore-friendly :P

A rather complex series of connected questions I've wondered about, and was rather curious as to your thoughts on what you may implement on this topic.

1. You guys have mentioned that there are 'chain of commands' for factions, meaning Mordor would be the chief faction of the evil factions, and those factions would answer to Mordor. Rather fascinating, is it possible to essentially become one of those factions? To have other factions join under you, as a form of sub-faction or other? I also wonder, if this were an implemented feature, how you'd work out if you were able to have both Gondor lords and Mordor lords in your faction or sub-faction.

2. Will there be a toggle or option to keep certain lands and lords as their own culture (maybe tie the lord to the land or vice versa), or will you have them convert as they do in Warband? I know I imagine scenarios where I may wish to convert some to my culture, yet keep others as theirs.

3. Will there be an option to raze villages, castles and towns, as seen in TLD? Will this apply to both sides?

I understand we still don't know everything about Bannerlord, so I take these answers with a grain of salt :p Keep up the good work, fellas and fellinas.

I'm extremely excited to hear that. The Warband community has lacked a good Warband LOTR mod (BitW was great, just lacks in a lot of places and is outdated), so I'm excited to see the great work produced here be introduced to a more Warband-focused theme. On that note, what differences will there be between Ivanhoe's upcoming BitW and Eastelings EaW? Is it purely different work?

These previews to the soundtrack for this mod are simply breathtaking. Rarely do I find mods, or even music pieces, that give me that feel of the moment. After hearing that completely custom battle cue preview, I've a great vibe that this mod will feature the kind of music that would work perfectly for me and its audience. And man, I think I prefer that custom Isengard theme to the actual theme itself...

I love music pieces, but it's rare to find ones that I enjoy. These pieces hit that spot for me. Thank you all for such professionalism, such devotion to this mod. Keep up the fantastic work!

Mongol-esque, nice choice. I also checked out the link provided by John.M below to see more of your work (and the links you provided on your bio), and I have to say it's beautiful. The amount of helmet variations was awesome to see. I'll make sure to follow your work, because it's amazing.

Curious, yet probably obvious answer to my question, but what kind of Rhûnic models will you be focusing on? Will you take inspiration from TW: Third Age, purely film-inspired, or custom models?

The one thing they'd have to take into account is the different head models those mods use. I've seen those faces used on native bodies, and they look off. Dunno if that mod comes with the new design or not, but something to consider.

This game hasn't had an update in a long time. The creator is currently working on a full overhaul for this mod, which will likely come out around Spring. Towns and castles will most likely be updated in this current build he's working on.

Have patience! :P

Do my eyes deceive me? A playable Warband LOTR mod? I know we've all been waiting for Ivanhoe's updated BitW, but it's great to see another creator make one as well. So far, this is actually really well done for a rough draft/alpha. That menu music is a great selection imo, as the others are a bit too much or too dull just for a menu. I haven't gotten the other music to play if there is any. Anyways, keep up the good work fellow Easterling! I look forward to seeing updates on this, and will enjoy playing this for now :D

I've no doubt you have found someone already, what with the amount of anticipation we have for this mod. One thing that could be possible, but would probably require approval of the TLD team, would be to rip their map and expand the playable borders. There is room there, but I'm not exactly sure how much room. Just an idea for ya.

Keep up the great work as always, friend. Maausan avhe ukavaruk ukhine brighav par mod.

I am curious about something. If the mod will feature three categories of factions, what benefits or dangers would be faced if, for instance, Rhûn leaves Saurons category to become its own independent ruling? More enemies of course, but I do wonder what other things might happen, or if you guys are planning anything for that.

I've probably expressed my love for this mod many times, but again, keep up the great work on one of my most anticipated mods.

For the love of Melkor, that is some beautiful work. A formation of these men will look truly terrifying. I don't care if we're outmatched and outnumbered, my men will march menacingly to the battlefield without a single hint of fear in them. Beautiful work, guys.

Those foolish Dwarves of Erebor would supply us with insufficient weaponry, used for nothing more than trade. Our Rhûnic weapons are far superior. I would, however, love to traverse the remains of the Dwarves in Erebor, after we have sacked it. Gujat Gajal Rhûn!
