I see, that is a pity. I am using Linux, and executing the installer via wine (technically, that is also what Mac OS users do). Thank you for the reply!

Isn't there any way to download the files without the installer so I can just place in the Plugins folder? The installer program freezes and thus this is the only mod I am unable to install, while it is the one I want the most...

valdimir1986 - - 10 comments @ AMC TC v2.0 - DEPRECATED

This mod should work under Mac, Linux and BSD using Eduke32, however it won't work!

The reason is as simple as this: On all modern not Windows OS, capital and not capital letters are considered different characters.

If you define on a file "Include GAME.CON" and on the folder the file it is written "GAME.con", it won't find it. You can fix the problem tracing the offending file and renaming it, but to do so on such a huge project with over a thousand files is a punishment!

Please, I beg the developers to consider such practises while programming! It is the only thing that prevent your project on being multi platform and opening it to many other people!

I didn't even notice the new eduke version!

But yes, now it works. Thank you very much!

Yes
Duke Nukem 3D game data was not found. A valid copy of "DUKE3D.GRP" or other compatible data is needed to run EDuke32.
You can find "DUKE3D.GRP" in the "DN3DINST" or "ATOMINST" directory on your Duke Nukem 3D installation CD-ROM.

EDuke32 will now close.

(The yes near the end occurs after asking me it I shall load the internal defaults because of the GAME.CON errors. selecting no will exit with no more output to the log file)

Not able to load it: if I put this mod under a directory, it won't load (says duke3d.grp not found). If I copy its contents to the root directory it will delete my duke3d.grp! Tried to use -g -x -j to load the dat file, as I also tried to uncompress it (in all the cases, it complains of errors in EDUKE.CON and that it won't find duke3d.grp, even if it is in the root directory )

I am not using any mods, not even opengl. There isn't any instructions on the parameters to use?

The game won't run under Linux because it has set some permissons incorrectly. Just make sure to "chmod +x" the executable /opt/desura/common/love-sniper/lib/<your arch>/LoveSniper to make it executable. Probably you also need to make /opt/desura/common/love-sniper/LoveSniper.sh executable.

Welcome to the "wonderful" world of widescreen, where you will never "enjay" old games anymore.

Thank you for informing us.

I am still excited about the project. I am one of those who never managed to make it work on my computer and I am always waiting for updates, hoping next one will make the game playable for me, so I will resist a little bit more before asking for a refound.

Good luck.
