I also wanted to allow everyone the opportunity to check out the technical build of the game. It's a few months old at this point (that's why there's the separate alpha tier which will allow access to brand-new weekly builds). However, the technical demo will allow you to see some of the core mechanics of the game and give you an idea of the scope as everything is expanded.

No Mac version?

Trust me, $5 is worth it even at this point. If this were the final version it'd be worth the $5.

Gah, downloading it now! I can't get enough Airships. I can't wait for the boarding party update to arrive. I can just picture my boarding ship with hardly any weapons teeming with cutthroats that steal all of my enemies ships.

Looks great! I can't wait to play. Kudos on the Mac release too.
