That is correct. This mod is only for multiplayer which clearly is stated on the top of the page. As for playing offline Host a Game with only bots, is because this mod is the predecessor to the current version of the Mount & Gladius mod. For playing with other people you would need to arrange an event for this mod, and host a server for it, if none are online still.

No, March of Rome does not have a campaign. If you want a singleplayer experience, the closest would be Bellum Imperii (which is also on ModDB)

Probably because the article is filed under Warband. So it applies to all official modules of the game and appears on DLC mods' pages too.

Nothing can be done about the A.I. archers I think, they either headshot you or they don't. Same as regular Warband's A.I.

Pilums you'd have to convince Vitallion to increase the throwing accuracy.

Can you specify what you mean by the update doesn't work? This should be the full version of the latest version 2.1. MoR mod still has events every so often. Here's an event if you're looking for one happening soon. Reddit.com

You probably have too many mods in the Modules folder, try moving some old ones out of the Modules directory and re-launch the game. The maximum number of modules you can have to browse is 30 from what I've seen, could be wrong but this issue comes up frequently with many mods installed.

How does the download not work for you? Try downloading MoR_V2.1 again. Do not download the older versions.
