Download the very early, rough-and-tough, beta demo of Urban Pirate. This version is buggy and the final game has come very far compared to this piece of work in progress. Final game is released June 2016 on Steam.
"While many crime games tend to have you exchanging gunfire with police and running people over with stolen vehicles, turn-based sim Urban Pirate is more into shoplifting cans of pop, buying weed, dumpster diving, and skateboarding in the park. It's all still crime, though, so you'll have to be careful as you live out your life as a hardened public nuisance, dodging cops, detectives, and an overly-zealous swat team" - Indiegames.com
"This pretty nifty turn based rpg (...) lets you eat slop and steal food, which is perfect for someone like me since I wouldn't want to do either of those things in real life" - @Wasdnonn, YouTube
One day you quit your job, and set off to begin your life as an urban pirate. All you have is 65 bucks, no job (with no intention of getting one) and a lust to live life dangerously...
Urban Pirate is a retro-style, non-linear mix of strategy, simulation and rpg with an 8-bit soundtrack and streetwise game mechanics.
Demo for Windows platforms.
Final game for Windows, Linux and Mac. Expected to launch June 2016.
