If I could hit that + a thousand times I would. Played this game every day before the new roof and ladder stuff, haven't played it since. If I wanted something complicated I'd go play Gnomoria, it's the same as what you have now just more polished but I wanted something simpler.

The new mining system is much more irritating now, I have to micromanage mining otherwise townies will mine themselves into a hole they can't get out of (and then starve), a roof they can't get off of (and again, starve) or mine a block over water, fall in and drown. It's so painful.

Combine this with the townies complete inability to flee from a fight or wander off 5 floors down through the most convoluted path while hungry (and, you guessed it, starve) and it means this is feeling more like work than fun.

So far this new version seems quite broken. I've finally managed to figure out the stairs thing, but I find my townies simply stop mining. I can select and area for them to mine (a tunnel and 3x3 rooms) and they'll mine maybe 7 or 8 tiles away from the stairs then simply stop. If I then select the whole area to be mined they'll cut out say 30% of what I select in a random direction then again they'll stop. Is there a way to roll back to the older version until this gets a massive rework?

So far VERY dissapointed after waiting so long for a new version to come out.

Getting exactly the same thing. Ball not spawning, objects not appearing and this is all from the very first level. Sometimes even level 0 the ball never spawns.
Core i5 2500k, 16Gb RAM, GTX 560 1Gb, 2 screens w/ total res 3840x1200, Win7 Pro x64, anything else you need to know?
