Youtube.com xD
Not bad at all. Nice to see good musicians from Russia! Though, the music is not in my taste at all, it's a very quality work.
Thanks! Never dug drone myself that much honestly, though SunO))) are something out of this world when it comes to live shows. I would not call them stoner either. From long songs I prefer something like this one M.youtube.com or this one M.youtube.com :D
@Genezis I see what you mean. Though I honestly think that Limp Bizkit is more of a Jazz music - those subtle rhythm changes, different time signatures, that epic bass and drums! And let's not forget the astonishing lead guitar work pared with one of the most quality jazz oriented vocals. ALSO BOOBS!
Very interesting music - reminded me of Pelican's "Australasia". Kind of sounds like a mix of drone with industrial metal.
Here's another version :D Youtube.com
I like this Wardance better :D Youtube.com
There are a bunch of bands besides Limp Bizkit that are not metal on this "table" :D
P.S: Sepultura rules, one of the DM originators!
That one is not that bad. How about Bullet For My Valentine being a Sludge metal band?! :D
Bullet for My Valentine (random song): Youtube.com
EyeHateGod (one of the originators of Sludge): Youtube.com
Now that's funny as hell!
Ha, no problem, man :) Nice to see a real Anvil fan! :) Anvil is more of heavy metal/old school power metal band.
As for roots of thrash metal - the main influence to its creation were Motorhead and Iron Maiden. But when it comes to Canadian thrash metal - you definitely can notice an Anvil vibe in it.
Anvil is a very good band, but I don't think they ever played a thrash metal song.
I want to hug this Pit Drone, he's so damn huggable!
This one is more epic: Youtube.com :D
A good song, a good band, but IMHO it's hard rock.
Hope it will get Greenlit soon.
Hope you guys get the MOTY, finally! :D
Good luck on mod of the year awards, guys, hope you will get it!
Nothing beats some Christian crabcore, eh? :D
Denmark. I am pretty sure they "sing" in Danish too, but just like for most DM bands language does not really matter, only riffs and drums are crucial, and those are quite awesome '-)
Not sure how this band is even related to metal (well apart from the use of distortion). They sound like alternative rock to me. I don't think they are so special, but it is good to see Russian bands making it to States (hope they will sell pretty well too). Good luck to them.
@JM_Scion
Hey man, can you explain what do you mean by "progressive guitars"?
@PrivateSnowball: I am for gun control, I always use both hands! :D
@bloodstalker: Hehe :D
SPEAK ENGLISH OR DIEEEEEEEEE!
From 2009 releases - Suicidal Angels' "Sanctify the Darkness" is pretty cool death-thrash album. Can't wait for "Dead Again" that comes out this November. From 2010 releases - Space Eater's "Aftershock" is an 'ok' thrash album, I liked their self-titled much better.
From the new releases: Hellish Crossfire's "Bloodrust Scythe" is pretty fun piece of blackened thrash. New release from Death Angel (Relentless Retribution) is no good, not much of thrash left there. New release from Torture Squad (Aequilibrium) is very boring and mediocre compared to their previous two releases...
