ToxicHolyGrenade @ Brutal Half-Life Beta 2

While this all probably won't be implemented into the mod any time soon, will there ever be Half-Life: Opposing Force and Blue Shift content, like enemies, weapons, maps, and allies being planned to be put into the mod? Or will this all be divided into two specific brutal mods? Either way, that'll be amazing on paper. 😉

When are we going to be able to play this mod when the recent .exe file won't even open. It needs to be fixed. 😔

Sometime in the future, are you going to release the prototype versions of Paranoia 2: Savior once it comes the the big anniversary for the sequel? Because I find prototypes rather interesting to look at, or even in this case, to play through. Even though I just saw the very first trailer of Paranoia 2: Savior.

Even though, if the prototypes may not be playable for said reasons, they can be compiled and allow them to function better, if correctly so.

Nah, not really, but there IS an easter egg that references an enemy from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Series, but I want to spoil it for you.

Sorry, no chopper there. We would REALLY burst out laughing if the Chopper had burst through the doors instead at top speed, killing the player and Kulak in the process. XD

From what I perceive, that creature that she is dissecting DOES reference the Poltergeists from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Series. Nice to have an Easter Egg in there.

ToxicHolyGrenade @ Patch v.1.1 is released!

Making them OP would also make them scary, even if they would have the ability to be fast as **** with the animations going apeshit like the Twitchers would in AOM: DC, having an ability to kill players with a one-hit kill like a user of Absolute Strength, it would be scary as **** that people would crap their pants at this. :D

Especially if the sound was up all the way, oh yeah. It would may sound silly and hilarious, but I guarantee this would strike fear in a relentless way. Be free to use your imagination on what the situation looks like, that's the level we're at.

Yeah, I recognize this, the video shows some recycled parts from other levels of the 2003 Prototype version of Paranoia.

ToxicHolyGrenade @ 5th years anniversary!

The sequel in my honest opinion, is a rather great indie game, especially the first Paranoia once it became an indie game also as it was a former mod for Half-Life. Once it comes to the 10th anniversary, it would've been awesome if we had tried out the prototype versions of Paranoia and Paranoia II altogether. Game prototypes are rather interesting, especially in my opinion at least. There's a reason why leaking game prototypes are OK to leak to the public, atleast if you request for the game company's permission, even if they don't need the prototype versions anymore. You can also ask them for permission IF the game is an extremely long duration away from its year of release, for example, Half-Life being released back in 1998, while the prototype version of Half-Life, is leaked in 2013.

First off, there is a popular wiki opened up inside the Internet right now called, The Cutting Room Floor. (https://tcrf.net/The_Cutting_Room_Floor) As the description says, "The Cutting Room Floor is a site dedicated to unearthing and researching unused and cut content from video games. From debug menus, to unused music, graphics, enemies, or levels, many games have content never meant to be seen by anybody but the developers — or even meant for everybody, but cut due to time/budget constraints.

Feel free to browse our collection of games and start reading. Up for research? Try looking at some stubs and see if you can help us out. Just have some faint memory of some unused menu/level you saw years ago but can't remember how to access it? Feel free to start a page with what you saw and we'll take a look."

Not only you can post articles about cut content and game prototypes only in ONE wiki by the name, The Cutting Room Floor, but also various game wikis in general, for example, the Serious Sam Wiki.

Make sense?

Because the prototypes would may be abstract maps, textures and much more as you've previously quoted in our interview, we would still be interested in them whenever it comes to a game's evolution to perfection. The 2003 prototype version of the MOLE story arc is much more interested, especially the Mutants before both the Zombies and Mutant Zombies had came to fruition. Because the prototype footage video is short, I was curious on what else is in display, which I don't have to.

Still, releasing the said Paranoia prototypes is typically an option to be honest.

Moreover, I really enjoyed the Paranoia series as a whole and I really hope what happens to Major in Paranoia II: Savior after the events of the said story arc that took place during Paranoia and its sequel. There's plenty of questions that still remain to be answered despite being intrigued on what happened in the underground laboratories and with the City being in a state of quarantine. It honestly feels like I'm a person trying to climb myself towards the light to encounter some more knowledge because of the duo games' plot twists and questionable events at certain exact moments. These games deserve to be my all time favourite indie games, they honestly deserve to be in Steam Greenlight, you deserve some good recognition from Valve and everybody else, same with Elber. Again, thanks.

And although I don't want to correct you but, that scene that you've mentioned right now, isn't part of the 2004 prototype version of Paranoia, just the 2003 version. That's also the version where the unique and cool, re-modelled Gonomes are placeholders.
