Looks interesting! Best of luck, and definitely tracking development.
"RTX on" looks worse than "RTX off" :/
You've added super shiny floors, just to show your fancy ray-tracing, and it looks bad..
I saw your post, because the game looked interesting. And then I remembered that I played it, 10 years ago. The atmosphere was really nice in the mod.
Good luck to whatever you do next!
I believe people don't talk nearly enough about how amazing INFRA is as a game.
Will be trying this out, thanks!
So eh.. Are you working on this again? :D
It looks cool and well made! Good job!
Sorry to hear that.. Wrapping up Hyrule Conquest sounds like the healthy thing to do. Speaking for myself, this will be missed as one of the more unique mods on ModDB. Following the progress was a joy, best of luck!
Out of curiousity: I imagine you liked Zelda a lot more before. What is it about the newer games that you did not like?
Before anything, I hope that you're, mostly, modding for the fun of it. Considering you've been getting at it for 14 years, I would assume that's true.
As an extension to that: If you do what you want to do, and release the mod the way you want to release it; I think you'll find that it matters surprisingly little what the community wants.
If you believe you can give us a proper experience by releasing the mod earlier (and unfinished), and if you believe that _you_ would be happy with that, than that's probably the way to go.
There are definitely pros that come with releasing early, such as earlier exposure, feedback, extra motivation to work, etc. But also possible downsides, such as hard-hitting criticism and players might have an experience you did not intend them to have. It's going to be up to you to see which path you want to take. Good luck! :)
Looking good! Any connection with this old mod? Moddb.com
Oh my, the team has grown a lot in size!
Really nice videos, I wish you all the best with development and raising funds! :)
I can only applaud you for not giving up. Well done!
Congratulations on that launch and realizing your childhood dream!
I'm looking forward to play again. The matches were pretty intense. :)
Are any of the old-timers still around?
Looking great! I tried Ether Fields (a long time ago), but haven't played Gloria Victis yet. I think it's about time I try it!
Really great stuff. Do you plan on adding more control to the random generation (how much money does the occupant have, does he prefer any "style", how clean is he, ..)?
This is looking amazing! I stopped watching around 10 minutes, just because I want to play this myself one day and not be spoiled!
Great job!
I very much appreciate that you mark them as "sponsored", and as long as it is gaming related, it's totally fine.
You've included 138MB of .pdb files..
Thank you for the reply!
I think Sergio Leone is a great director to base your story and setting on. So I just have to ask: What is your inspiration for music? I'm secretly hoping Morricone. ;)
I wouldn't mind an article about music. :)
I'm following a ton of games on ModDB, but this one gets me excited with every update. You're putting a lot of attention into every post, and it's really paying off.
It looks amazing, great job!
Seems like you did your homework. It looks like a lot of fun already!
Not at all.
We were already working on the UE4 version before any of us knew about DoI. We've had our own ModDB page up for a while, but a lot of people don't seem to know about it, and keep posting on the mod's page instead.
That's why we decided to make a small announcement on this page.
Done. :)
There seemed to be a problem with selecting options for the VR purchase reasons.
For most of the options, if I made a selection, it would remove the selection from the row above.
I was thinking the same thing. :P They should have worded it like:
"...and you can not attack anyone yourself." Or maybe they meant to say: "...and can not defend yourself.:
You can enter this building (if you played the source version, you will recognize it) and shoot the windows.
I am very confused about how my comment ended up here. I have never even played this mod, this was supposed to be feedback for L'Aigle.
.. I have no clue what happened or what I was thinking.
