Just like any FSO engine based game. The easiest part is creation of new missions as detailed here: Wcsaga.com
Some of our customizations did not take Unix OSes into account. We realize that fans want to see progress. So, you can expect some updates and new things to look at very soon (barring some major real life catastrophe... again! Real life has been tough on our team members lately with everything ranging from moving fiascos, job changes, and-- sadly enough-- mild burn outs, just to name a few. But we're hanging in there).
Depends on the version you have downloaded - the old demo contained only one campaign consisting of five missions.

Bottom line is - it is not a virus.
I assume you are using NOD32 anti-virus. Some anti-virus (most notably ESET NOD32) may report a false positive and detect wcsaga_sse2.exe as a virus/worm. Tell your anti-virus to omit this warning.
It does not. Stop by our forums at wcsaga.com/forum and we'll give you the assistance you need. We love our fans and and are always eager to help.
Doh! It is part of the main game and can be found in the campaign room. ;)
We would love to. Desura's EULA doesn't permit distribution of material which is based on an existing franchise.
Try Alt-A. Also read the short tutorial here: Wcsaga.com
Feel free to stop by our forum over at wcsaga.com/forum for tips and tricks. Decreasing difficulty level or using god mode usually tends to help too. ;)
Not in the initial release - in the end we did not have the ressources to work on the MP part. If there is enough interest, we'll add MP functionality at some point in the not so distant future...
Multiplayer will not be included in the initial release. If there is enough interest, we will release it via patch.
Initially we planned to have debris, yes, but we had to cut those from the game due to time constraints.
We'll try not to disappoint our fans... all three of you.
We did over the years. Just browse our 2008/9 news archive.
Just give us a few more weeks. The game should be ready to launch in March. ;)
Thanks for playing along.
The movie rewrites the background story. We just pretend that it never happened. ;)
"This must be a very god game..."
If this was an intended ironic joke, I find it fitting.
If it was unintended, I find it hilarious.
To be honest, I have no idea what you talking about.
We will make source code available after the release. Thing is: our code has been optimized to support our game and most of our changes were made without any regard for Freespace compatibility, so it is unlikely that it will be ported back by the SCP.
We have one cutscene per episode plus briefings and command briefings. That's pretty much it. The rest of the story is told during missions.
