Hey, where is the linux version? And btw I bet this version here is completly outdated?

Please give us a linux version too! Unity is available for linux.

If you don't know how to make it, maybe contact those who know ( Humblebundle.com ). I bet they can help with making one and maybe it results in some more money for you too ;-)

I get an error when I want to launch this game ( ubuntu 12.04 ) installed via desura :

the game starts and show an error in the console:
UI /Ingame.menu line1: ui/menddef.h not found.

I think something is wrong with the (linux)desura package.

Is there any chance of a linux version ?

yes, we are currently working on an egypt faction.

Unpack all files from the glest dir (but not the glest dir itself!! ) to your glest installation. ( hint for linux users: don't overwrite/remove any existing directories when doing this! )

Start glest and you can choose the techtree "megapack_v4" with the new faction indian .( and the tileset jungle of course )

I had problems running the mod in linux:
If you get errors in AshuraDarkReign.log like:

FOpenGLRenderInterface::SetGlobalColor ....

Here is the fix:
in file
~/.ut2004/AshuraDarkReign/system/AshuraDarkReign.ini
add/set :

[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice]
UseRenderTargets=True

and now for some testing ... :)

For me it doesn't work:

I tried it on two different computers with linux, and the game starts.
but at the moment the player starts to run "very fast" it crashes.

Another test was made with windows XP. Here the mod doesn't even start, it simply crashes ut2004 then starting :(

Whats wrong with this?

System3(windows)

All those systems run lots of other UT2004 mods without problems, so whats wrong?
