Music is released!

timmy1308 Blog

I've released my first album! You can buy it pretty cheap at
Twebonhawk.bandcamp.com

This is a pretty big thing for me, and I've wanted to sell an album for a long time. I certainly know that my music is not as high quality as a lot of other stuff, which is why I made it cheap, but I would really appreciate it if you guys could look at it, and maybe buy some of the songs.

Developer: EA

Genre:
Simulation

Pros:
Excellent character creation and building systems, almost unlimited amounts of customization, ability to realistically interact with everything

Cons:
Freedom allows for unethical actions such as sex before marriage and homosexuality, expansion packs are too expensive.

General Commnets:
Okay, wow, what a game to do my first review on! I must say up front, buy this game. There is so much to do! The first thing you want to do in the game is create a sim, and this is one of the best parts. In the character creation system, you start by choosing your sim's hair and facial features, choosing from one of may presets for hairstyle, eyes, mouth, and more. Or, you can change what you please in a detailed editor. There are a limited amount of clothing styles to choose from, but you can customize all of them with tons of patterns, and each of those has a color wheel if you aren't satisfied with the default setting. Then, you can set up your sim's personality with 5 of many traits, including things like computer wiz, bookworm, athletic, or evil. Once your sim is done, you can choose to either enter a premade house, or start fresh on an empty lot. This is my favorite part, building a house! You start with 16,000 simoleons (the currency) to build, decorate, and furnish your house with. You can start by setting up walls. The walls can be set up in straight and angled lines, allowing for great house shapes. Then, you set up walls and floors. Now, the same concept applies as the clothes. Any wallpaper, flooring, or piece of furniture is fully customizable in terms of pattern and color. Then, you can choose a suitable roof for your new house. After that is done, its time to furnish. By this time, you probably don't have much money, but later in the game, you can buy tons of items. TV's. computers, grills, sofas, bars, you name it. You can even set up multiple stories for your house! Now that you're set up, it's time to start living. You can do almost anything you want! Go to the park, get a job, or go to the local swimming pool! But you also need to take care of your sim's daily needs, such as eating, sleeping, and going to the bathroom. This part of the game has so many details, like having your toilet clog up, choosing how hard you work, cooking different meals, and having to build relationships with people of varying personalities! Overall, this is an amazing game, so go to gamestop right now and get it for PC. ;)

St Sativum

St. Sativum

The road was long, and winding. Birds were flying through the air, bees
were buzzing around flowers, and rabbits were bouncing around doing
what rabbits do. For the most part, it was a nice and quiet scene,
but far off in the distance, was a dark and dismal castle, which did
not belong at the end of the road at all. There was another
disturbance in this tranquil pass, and that was the presence of two
utterly foul creatures, with no respect for personal hygiene!
"Oi, Daelum, why are we dwarves?"
"Oh, Dahlum, the answer to that question is far too big for your little
brain to wrap around"
"But, my head's big! Why's my brain so small?"
"Stop askin' questions Dahlum! We've got to get there as quick as we can if
we want the treasure!"
So these two dwarves resumed their march down the road, which was now
devoid of birds, bees, and business-doing-bunnies, due to the
dwarve's horrid stench. Before long, the two reached the castle,
where they were halted by a massive gate.
"Daelum, can ye help me find doorbell?"
"Doorbell!? You idiot, there isn't doorbell for a big castle like this! What we really need to look for is the knocker."
"Oh, why'd I not think o' that? You're sure smart Daelum!
After an hour searching with no luck, the two dwarves decided to take a
break. They did so by leaning against a wall.
"What're we going to do now Daelum"
"Well I'm sure I don't know! Oh I'm just plum out of ideas."
"I don't, wait, what's that creaking noise? Hey, look Daelum, the gate's openin'!"
"By the breath of St. Sativum! Well, get in quickly you dope, before it closes again!"
The dwarves dashed into the castle, just before the gate closed with a
shuddering clang. As they scrambled to their feet, Dahlum stood up to
be met by the glare of a fiercely stinky orc. With a cry, he fell
back and landed on top of Daelum.
"What in the green breath of, sacre purple! What in the name of St. Frank is that smell!"
And with that, Daelum also fell backward, coincidentally falling on top
of Dahlum. While this was happening the orc was staring at them in
puzzelment.
"Oooh, you nasty orc! Dahlum and I will fix you good! Right Dahlum?
"Uh, you're smarter Daelum, you can fix him right up if you want."
"Why you little, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were scared!
Watch, all you have to do is throw a rock at it, and it'll go away!
Watch."
Daelum picked up a small stone, and threw it towards the orc, which it
missed, and instead hit a switch on the wall behind it. With a
questioning roar, the orc suddenly fell through a hole in the floor.
"Boy,that was easy Daelum! You're smart!"
"Uh, yes of course I am! Hold, what's that sign over there say?
Don't...k-ke-kill...orc. Shows...you...sh-shortcut...through...castle."
"Oh, maybe you ain't so smart after all Daelum."
"Course' I am! Look we just keep goooooooooo!"
Daelum, having walked without looking, suddenly fell through the hole in the floor.
"Oh snapplecups. Now I'll never get through the castle." said, the
distraught Dahlum.
"I wish I was as smart as him. But who in the floor is St. Sativum?"

Hey guys!

I'm glad to be working on Reactor 17 from Sgt Leo and Dark Tunnels from Sandfly. I'm primarily doing voice overs, and would be glad to help anyone else with voices. Again, I'm always available to help with or critique plots and scripts. I've downloaded Sandbox, so I'll mess with that in my free time. Aside from that, not a whole lot new. I'm doing school again (homeschooling) so not a ton of free time, but I'm making songs, recording voice overs, and playing games!

Red Christmas

I’m a lucky guy, you know? I mean, most guys don’t get a family like I do. My wife is beautiful, and I have three beautiful children. It’s time for dinner, and I sit down. My wife is making roast chicken, not my favorite meal. My kids like it, in fact, they love it. Why do they love it, and I don’t? They shouldn’t. We eat, I eat my potatoes first. I always eat the grains first on Tuesday. My eldest daughter comes home, she brought a boyfriend. He says hello, I hate him already. She says he’s great, he isn’t. His face is wrong. We clear the table, I make a coffee. Children go to sleep, while my wife and I read together. We got to bed, sleep is wonderful. I dream, but it is not a good dream. I dream of a desert, but the sun is red. I’m moving quickly, I don’t know why. I wake up by the sound of a scream. It’s my wife. I hear sobs. She is crying in our youngest daughter’s room. Why is she crying? I run to the room. I begin to cry, my daughter is dead. She was twelve, too young to die. Her throat had been cut, a bloody mess. How did it happen? Why did it happen? Why me, and why her? Too many questions for my mind, I sat down. I was sad, I was angry. I couldn’t think anymore, but my beautiful wife could. We buried her, a few friends came. I wanted to do more, but I couldn’t. We had spent our money for the month. No more would come. I was tired, so we went to sleep early. Again, a bad dream. This time, it was night. The moon was red, the rest of the world was pitch black. I wake up to an exhausted sob, I wonder what is wrong this time. Our eldest is dead, sprawled out on the floor in her pajamas. Her body is covered in bruises and scrapes, like she was struggling. I can’t think about anything, I fall. I work my way back up, red-hot tears stinging my face. I punch the wall, why? What is happening? Again, we bury her too. Our currency is man-power, our gift is a rose. I wipe the sweat and tears from my face. Our baby son is crying for us. My wife and I go inside, she feeds him. I hope he will enjoy his present, if he gets it. This will be his first Christmas. No more will die, tomorrow will be a joyous day. Tonight, I’ll stay up, I don’t want to dream anymore. I am sitting in bed, my wife sound asleep beside me. My eyes begin to close, but I force them open. I get up and walk around. I get a cookie, and eat it while sitting under our tree. I pick up my son’s present, simply a cup. It’s a very nice cup, why should it be his? I look at the other presents, one for each of my children. They didn’t deserve it. What? Of course they did! I loved them! Yes I did, but they’re gone aren’t they? No, there is one left. He is sleeping, I should be sleeping. I can’t, I do. The dream comes again, I dream that I’m sitting under our tree. I get up, and walk. I go to my son’s room. He is wonderful. He is ugly. I hate him. I feel dizzy, I faint. I wake up. I look at my watch, 4:27 a.m. It is too early. Then, I realize I am on my son’s floor. I stand up and look at my son. He is gone, at least most of him is. All that is left is an arm. My nostrils are filled with a terrible stench. I run, I run as fast as I can. Out of our neighborhood, out of the town, I run till my legs won’t heed me. I fall in the road, it is a lonely road. I desperately search my pockets for my pills. My happy pills, I take one. I feel much better. I hadn’t taken one tonight, probably because I stayed up. My children are dead, why? I would kill their murderer! I would strangle him. I will swear it, I pull out my knife, intending to take an oath on it. It was gleaming. Why was it gleaming? It was covered with the smell of my children, and blood.

Back, plus school.

I'm going to try and frequent here more often now, because I'm becoming active in the 40K writer's group. Head over there to see some of my work from time to time. I've also started school recently, so my time is still limited, but I come when I can. I would love to see more people, especially younger teens like me, to be interested in writing. I guess writing is natural for me, but will always help anyone who has a story, or even and idea.

3DS

Awright! The E3 conference was beast! I really wanted to watch Nintendo, which I did, but I also got to see most of Microsoft and Sony! AC Revelations looks awesome, and so does Halo 4. Really cool, but despicable, thing that happened today, SMASH BROS. !!!!!! But, it was only barely mentioned, Iwata, said it would be for 3DS and WiiU (new home console for Nintendo). Other than that, zit. Oh, and I got the system update for the 3DS, Excitebike 3D, plus the Pokedex. Very cool.

Alright, my computer is up and running, I just have to install windows again and start everything from scratch, no biggie. Turns out my motherboard died, which sucked. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my new song, I certainly do. I'm much more pleased with it than the previous one. I'll be working on a new song soon, but I have other stuff too, so we'll see how it turns out. Also, for some odd reason, I can't see my downloads, or the article I posted, can the admins like take down my stuff?

Hello again! I've got some problems! I've been sick for the past week, and my primary computer crashed, so I can't play and PC games :( But aside from that, I want to talk about music. I've been a little more active, an article here, a SONG there (hint hint), but sadly, my new song isn't as good as i hoped. Most probably know by now, but I use a nifty software called, ooooohhhh! Hold the phone! This is for anyone, but particularly cork279, if you can't play music on Aviary, it may be because your not using Google Chrome! Just a guess, but an educated one. ;) Anyway, that brings me back to my software. I use Aviary's Roc, a sophisticated music creator that allows you to create music using thousands of premade sounds! However, it is specific to Google Chrome. They also have an audio editor that comes pre-filled with loops. However, I use a lot of loops off the internet as well. Right now, I'm looking for better music making software. Like I said, I can't really record music. I can record guitar, but the process is tedious and complicated, plus I don't play guitar that well. I was thinking about buying a cheap MIDI cable, since I have a piano, and that's my best plan. Also, I use Audacity as my primary audio editor and Sony Vegas as my organizer, when I'm not using Aviary. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them!
