Is it the official guide of the Hobbit films? Wonderful concepts! I read that the dark look was created to show her relationship with the water because of the power of Nenya, even though I think it has scared many people or got misunderstood. Honestly I would have liked more a representation of her bright and blessed, since she is a high elf of Valinor.
Her dark look was done because Galadriel was affected in Dol Guldur by evil environment and the presence of Sauron, who draining her energy.
I hope that we will see more in the extended version. But as we know, she was capable resist and banish Sauron away. ;o)
After her confrontation with Sauron and when is finally banished, thereby totaling removing him from sapping her energy, the beautiful image of Galadriel reappears immediately.
Do you know when will be the extend version? It will just ad some minutes?
