i think you can
steam/steamapps/common/ has a steam controller folder, i believe
you can use it to paste in configs, feel free to use and modify this file, all i did was lay the foundation for it
OH HOWEVER, I have to point out that it requires completely unbinding all controller input buttons from within AMC, and disable controller analog stick input too, though maybe keeping aim assist could be a thing.

Too bad, it would help potential new players find this. Anyways, maybe you can take a look at this guide? It doesn't seem too difficult. If you want, I can try to help.

Hello, is it possible to use the main menu from the enhanced edition mod?
I tried deleting the main menu files but it doesn't work.

Also, how can I prevent the machinegun from gibbing enemies like the pistol does?

I found a workaround for this problem by using mesa to convert opengl to vulkan and it works great so far.

I found the soundtrack in the autoload folder, but those are 128k quality.

That's not the point. You can still legally buy Duke3d on the zoom platform. It contains the atomic edition and expansions. I'd rather you support them and legally own the game. If you want to support Randy, you can buy the cursed Randy edition on steam.

Hello, I'm trying to play this mod on steam deck, but it doesn't seem to work with the controls. It doesn't switch to the controller layout. The original game works fine though. Any idea how to fix this?

I just played it for a bit and awesome mod so far. Cannot wait to finish it!

If you've installed OpenAL soft then it works great. I've had this problem that everything is too loud, like they're standing next to you with the generic sound driver.

This mod doesn't start for me after following instructions. It just goes into the regular game.

How can I solve this?

EDIT: After lowering the resolution it works, but now it locks up when I try to save the game.

Thanks, but after replaying the mission, it still didn't work. After aiming it more to the left, it finally blew up.
