It didn't get a poor reception, because of the quality, but because you couldn't take criticism. People were making suggestions to improve your mod, trying to help you, but you probably thought they were attacking your mod so you went into full offensive mode.

As much as I like the new sounds, an option for the original sounds would be nice.

Thanks Dan. Yes, I was talking about level 2 of episode 1. They move in circles next to the building you later blow up.

Hey Dan, I'm loving this mod so far, but I have one main issue and those are the tie wing fighters. They are really buggy on level 2 and mostly clip through the ground. Besides this issue I've been really enjoying this mod.
So i just found the solution to my own problem. I've checked a few pages back and found an executable that solves this problem for this particular source port. Thanks.
Hello, i'm trying to rename the quake2xp executable to Quake2 in order to launch it on Steam as Quake 2, but whenever i rename it, it crashes with the error message "gl_arb_explicit_atrib_location not found". Any ideas ? I would really like to use this when i start it from Steam. I know about adding it as a non-stea m game, but that's not what i want.
Try right-clicking on the executable, then select properties, compatibility, select "Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings", apply and done.
I know that you've said implementing the latest unofficial patch is a difficult task to do, but are you planning to update it in your mod in the future sometime ?

Thanks for the update. I've talked to you before about a crashing issue which is totally fixed with this update. I am using ioRTCW and now i can finally enjoy the mod.
Same problem. Could it be that 3DFX is interfering with the game ? I have a 3DFX intro at the start of the game.
My specs are :
Windows 10 x64
Sapphire R9 290x
AMD FX 8350
It seems like a great mod, but too bad it crashes after loading. I've tried changing in-game settings and compatibility settings, but it crashes while loading the first level. It just says : wolfsp has stopped working.

I've downloaded the latest build and it feels very jerky compared to their earlier builds.
Can't seem to find information on the latest good build performance wise.
Make sure you have enabled the precache gl textures option. You can find it in options>display options>opengl options>texture options>precache gl textures to yes.
No problem. It's located in external files>compatibility patches>Link to fixed KDiZD v11.
For future references, in case you have a similar problem.
Make sure you use the fixed KDiZD 11 version here : Mediafire.com
Make sure screen size is set to 11 in settings. Maybe then it will not start minimized.
If you are using the latest 3.0 alpha, there a minor bugs, but yes, it's compatible, including UDV.
