All good points from both of you.

I just try and keep it as close to the in game universe and lore as I can based on what the show gives us.

Mostly works by being a mount, the rider can do jump glides with no fall damage and has a fire breath weapon.
Other ways for flight are being looked into but at the moment with the game being early access it’s difficult as in the next version of bannelord something like that will usually get horribly broken.

Ok there is something we can try, if you can go on the discord I’ve posted a file in the help section with instructions on what to do

What modules do you have active for the mod?
What other mods are you using?

Have you reinstalled it the way I said?

Ok I’ll look into the character creation

Did you follow the installation instructions?
And the video?
Did you remove all the old mod folders like it was recommended to do?

Do you have any other mods?
Are they up to date to work with 1.5.7?
Have you had any other mods in the past and did you verify steam after disabling them?
I think the best solution is to verify steam, remove all the long night folders including the map fix and then reinstall the mod and let me know what other mods you have or have had recently even if disabled as some mods don’t tell you you may need to verify steam after disabling them.
Then I can tell you what mods are likely to conflict

You would need to start a new game though to be sure it’s fixed after that

EDIT: I checked your order of picking the starts for southern kingdoms and it worked fine.

I also remember you had issues before with crashes in battle.

Also dragon works fine in battle for me.

I haven’t set it up and don’t have plans to but there is a mod called enhanced battle test which is an extended version of custom battle and this mod works perfectly with that mod.

Yeah basically there is a process in the mod tools I can do to transfer the files to a more readable format.
In small mods this is the normal thing to do (and also the vanilla models from the basic game already have this done to them) and is easy for other mods but for me because there are so many files this process takes a couple of hours to complete and eats up my RAM to the point my pc crashes since I only have 8gb RAM the process only reaches 75% before my pc runs out of memory.
I’ve ordered 32gbs of RAM to upgrade my pc so in theory I should be able to run this process and complete it.
Even if not I’m due an upgrade so it will help with other things.
Also even though they might look the same, it’s possible to optimise models manually too which I will also be doing.
For example one armor set in vanilla game has around 6000-9000 faces on average but a lot of my models have about 11000-22000 faces.
Some of these models I can set a process to remove some of the faces, remove too many and it looks like it was made for Morrowind from 2001 but for each armor it might be possible to remove 2-3000 faces without losing any visual quality but it will be slightly less strain for the computer to run and if I do that for many armors I can save a little bit of memory.
I hope that makes sense and in conclusion yeah it will be mostly armors that get the optimisation:

An update for everyone issues with the main map where you can spawn under the map now has a hotfix on nexus mods under optional files

Sounds like there’s something going on with your pc there.
Vanilla game uses low poly models and textures and many of those in this mod require double the resources which means that if you go into a battle with a lot of different troops it might cause an issue.
It’s the only thing I can think of, if it’s saying there’s an error like that it probably is worth looking into:
If you post a screenshot of the error I’ll ask on the modding discord as someone there may have seen it before
Btw do your companions have any dragonglass weapons as this is known to cause issues

I’ll have a look into it, it should be an easy fix.
Which armor is it that does it? As they have a few
Also what graphics setting are you on because it’s likely to happen on lower graphics settings.

Ok it does sound like something went wrong somewhere.
Can you check the size of the module folder in my mod called “LN- content”
The one in your game folder, this way I can be sure that all the files are there and got loaded correctly

Yeah there’s nothing that can be done about the map at the moment until the devs fix the issues with the mod tools. They have known for 3 months already but haven’t fixed it yet so who knows how long it will take.
I can search units and both the wildling giants and Joffrey I can look at just fine.
Did you overwrite the files when asked to during installation?

Yeah they are around somewhere usually attacking the lannisters.

You can probably find their character locations in the encyclopaedia

Oh yeah this new update is actually for 1.5.7 and it won’t work on 1.5.5, 1.5.6 or 1.5.8 at the moment.

We had to make the jump to 1.5.7 as when the 1.5.7 update was released it stopped me from being able to edit any versions before 1.5.7.

Not entirely sure, I honestly can’t remember if they do in the vanilla game or not so they should follow the same rules that they follow in the basic campaign.

Thanks
I’m not familiar with that mod, I heard that there were some issues in previous versions with children not being born in the vanilla game so it’s possible it’s been fixed in later versions.
At the moment all I can suggest is to wait until this mod is updated to 1.5.7 and then if that mod your using has been updated to 1.5.7 too, then try again with that as it may just be an issue with 1.5.4 that was fixed later on
