We didn't make any changes to the campaign assets I believe, so that's probably a stock issue. Campaign has been slowly getting worse as the 1.3 patches come out, because changes to MP seem to break it.

For best results, just play the campaign in the 1.2 patch :)

Hey guys!

There are currently no plans to do a Console port of the game, we're strictly developing for PC right now. Licensing, Testing and Releasing a stable Console game is a complex process and just the PC version is taking up enough of our time ;) That said, you never know what the future holds!

We are still going strong however! We've had some big internal changes recently which have stunted development but we are all working away behind closed doors! Stay tuned for a new update soon!

I'm afraid I am no longer a very active member of the BZ2 community, been far too busy with my degree and I am currently working for TopHat Game Studios Ltd. on 'The Somme', which is a tough job!

There are many guys capable of doing a port if one is required, and if they are reading this, feel free to do so. Unfortunately this projects release did spark some controversy, so I'm not sure how willing they are to do so. It's very full-filling to know that people are still playing this mod though :)

With any luck I'll have time to come back for a spell in the future, until then see if you can find the cause or solution to the problem on the forums :)

Are you using the correct recycler variant? You want the TJ Variant with Thug Recyclers!

Did you launch from the proper shortcut on your desktop?

Ensure you install to the correct directory as well! It MUST install to your Battlezone II directory, with the latest patch.

Don't forget that 90% of the new content is multiplayer only :)

If you have any issues, drop by the forum :)

Hey, thanks for checking out the UEP, I'm glad you like it. Lots of people made contributions while myself and a few others pulled things together and made our own content to keep it fresh and new :)

I'm not around on BZ2 much at the moment and it might remain that way for a while. A couple of the bugs you posted are actually due to the game/dodgy AI, so not much I can do about those unfortunately :(

As for detailed documentation, I started but the amount of writing needed to explain it all was probably going to be more work than the pack itself :P Your best bet is to just experiment and toy with everything, a couple of the rec variants are a bit broken for one team but 99% of it works just fine.

Feel free to advertise it to your friends as well, there's plenty of video, screenshot and game footage to show it off with! The idea of the package was to bring members into the community, and provide fresh content for those who have been around for longer. It seemed to work if only a little!

It is a bit lol. I managed to squeeze in some fixes a few days ago, to AIP's, DS's last map is now finished. Only a few more need testing now before they are ready.

Sooner the maps get out that don't rely on EP assets the better... but that requires our funky installer :), which i can't wait to see in action.

There is a sun, but its behind the earth slightly, i didn't want to add one high in the sky because it wouldn't look right with the sprites i used for the sky (its space anyway, its meant to be dark :P).

There are no cruisers, but you may be referring to the asteroid station. They do just serve as props and places to spawn up high, but you will kill youself if you smash into them at high speed.

I would have animated the asteroids so that they spin but collisions would be very odd after that.

I may design a more hostile space environment with turrets & meteorites falling to the planet and whatnot. BZ2 was never designed to be terrain-less and can't be, but the transparent terrain idea worked pretty well.
