for your third age and call of warhammer mod, would it be possible to add medieval 2 factions to you mod, making it a third age vs warhammer vs human faction mod?

But yes, it is possible to do a TATW vs CoW vs Medieval 2 vanilla mod. You can combine any mod really.
I don't really get what you are saying. Are you saying you want the main campaign like the sandbox one, or vice versa?
No..you said that the sandbox was an open ended campaign..so it's just like vanilla campaign or are there some scripts?
there are a few scripts, but nothing that would push you to go a different route.
I read that the sandbox is a lot more stable..what are the scripts?
